David Long is an excellent realtor. He is personable, dependable, and responsive. Over the last 5 years, he helped us both buy and sell our Sunnyvale home.

When we bought, he showed us houses privately mid-week and helped us write several offers in a highly competitive market. In our last week of shopping we found two similar homes for sale and made an offer for the less expensive (and less nice) house, thinking we had a better chance at it. When we were outbid, David immediately reached out to the other house’s realtor to find out they didn’t get any offers. He then wrote us up a mid-week offer (before the house would be shown again) and we got a beautiful house for asking price, significantly less than similar (but not as nice) houses had been recently selling for.

Throughout the time we lived in our house, David continued to provide us with homeownership advice (e.g. referrals for workers) and even dropped by with friendly seasonal cards (and chocolates) from time to time.

We expected to stay for much longer but ended up deciding to move to the east coast during the pandemic. David again worked with us, walked us through the process, gave us advice and helped us make a few arrangements and repairs before we moved, but coordinated and oversaw the lion’s share of the work (repainting, landscaping, staging, photos, showing, etc) while we were thousands of miles away. We trusted him to handle all of the details without us being present and he did not disappoint. Given market conditions, we weren’t surprised to go under contract in less than a week, but we were floored by how much his work paid off: the best offers were not only significantly over our asking price, but indeed much higher than we ever imagined we could possibly get.

Overall, David is a valuable ally to have on your side when buying or selling a house.

David is also a great communicator, and all the processes at each step went smoothly as David has described. We got the best offers at both times all thanks to David, two strikes XX.

We were so fortunate to have David Long as our realtor when we decided to start looking for a home. He helped us to find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. David Long is one of the most seasoned and knowledgeable realtors I have ever worked with. I got to confess that I was extremely nervous about the whole process but David explained everything to such detail that convinced me that he was the one.

He walked us through the whole process and in many cases he prepared us for the next step beforehand so there were no unexpected surprises in the process. His honesty and professionalism are uncanny and, in my case, put me at ease and made the process something I ended up enjoying a lot.

Have in mind that this happened during the COVID-19 adding an extra level of complexity. Regardless David was extremely organized and professional. Took all precautions required by law and more. The whole process from first meeting to closing deal took around a month and he did a great job with the negotiations and contingencies.

He also has an army of experts that will help you go through this journey, from the credit broker to the contractors that are remodeling our new home. All of them are extremely professional and hardworking and the quality of their work was better than expected.

I totally recommend him and I would love to make business with him again.

When initially searching for a realtor, David’s name was the only one that was recommended multiple times by both our friends and our loan agent. During our first conversation over the phone, I knew we had made the right decision. We immediately felt that he always had our best interest in mind and knew that we could trust him to help us find our perfect home. Since this was our first time buying a home, David and Thomas took the time to slowly guide us through the process and thoroughly answered all of our questions. My husband and I started looking for a house during my second trimester of pregnancy and we were focused on finding the perfect place well before the baby arrived. Due to David’s fast work helping us to put together an offer on a Saturday afternoon, we managed to secure an acceptance on the first house on which we made an offer! As a resident physician, my work schedule can be quite demanding. David was always willing to meet on weekends and in the evenings to accommodate when I had time and was very responsive to late night and early morning texts. We put an offer on our house right before COVID-19 shelter in place started and David helped us sort out the home buying process smoothly during these unusual circumstances. We were very happy with the overall experience and found a home that is a perfect fit for us at a good price.

David & Thomas had our best interest in mind and prevented us from making rash decisions. We made a few offers on homes and lost the bids. At that point, we were almost willing to just give up and buy a house that fit just some of our requirements or over bid on the price. David and Thomas were helpful, thorough, and always prompt to respond. This was our first home buying experience and after our first meeting, we walked away feeling like experts in the home buying process! Considering it was our first home, we were hesitant at first; but rest assured - David and Thomas were patient with us, answered every question imaginable, and got us to the finish line!

Within 24 hours of sending addresses of homes for sale, we would have the backstory on the house with the current state of the home. If the Disclosure Package was available - we had it. Recent drop in price? We had amount, the date of the price drop, and a reason.

We made a few offers on homes and struck out, but we found our home and the process from getting the offer accepted to getting the keys could not have been smoother. David even introduced us to the neighbors during our Final Walk Thru! We got the keys in the Fall and Thomas dropped off some pumpkins for us as a house warming gift.

Every step of the way, we were taken care of and we could not be more pleased with this dynamic duo.

David walked us through the entire process and helped us get a good sense of what to expect during the buying process.
