About Dean
Dean was ranked #3 in Sales in the West Side Columbus office in 2021. His decades-long commitment to excellence in serving his clients has resulted in several hundreds of sold and closed Manhattan properties from $75,000-$13,900,000.
Dean Feldman is the only two-time First Prize Winner of the prestigious Real Estate Board of New York’s Residential Deal of the Year Award, winning in both 1997 and 2007. Over 30 years ago, The Real Estate Board of New York began honoring its Residential members with its Annual Gala and Presentation of the Residential Deal of the Year Award. A panel of judges including the Real Estate Board’s Board of Governors (representing approximately 12,000 members) and Deal of the Year Committee reviews each Deal of the Year Entry based on four criteria: creativity, ingenuity, professionalism, and skill.
Dean has been interviewed and quoted in The New York Times, Newsday, The New York Post, and Crain’s New York Business. He was also featured and interviewed on PBS Thirteen’s New York Voices episode on Affordable Housing as a West Side residential broker specialist.
Ever since graduating from Duke University, magna cum laude, Dean has been active in New York real estate. He has worn many hats in the real estate business - as a commercial leasing agent, a property manager of Manhattan residential buildings, a landlord, a tenant, a mortgagee, a mortgagor, a co-op owner, and a co-op board member. Over 30 years ago, a friend suggested he join the Brown Harris Stevens (then Halstead) team. Dean considers it a rare gift to have found both a career and a company he loves.
Long before it was fashionable, Dean was taking the time necessary to stage, edit, or in some cases, completely redecorate his exclusive listings. He enjoys enhancing a home’s overall appearance often using his impressive inventory of furnishings and accessories. By providing this over-the-top service, Dean always maximizes the property’s sale price.
All of this adds up to a most diligent and honest agent who is highly respected agent by clients, colleagues, and competitors. Dean is the real estate broker to help clients both with buying and selling a Manhattan home. His passion for New York apartments and real estate is in his blood - his grandfather’s New York Real Estate Broker’s License from 1923 hangs over his desk.
