Originally from Mississippi, DeAnna attended Millsaps College for undergraduate and graduate school, graduating with honors in accounting.

Outside of work, DeAnna has served on the Board of Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), where she led the Executive Committee as Treasurer. Additionally, DeAnna served as Board Treasurer of the First Presbyterian Preschool. She also loves visiting and supporting the High Museum of Art, the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Atlanta Contemporary.

A working mom, DeAnna also knows the value of family. Married to Gene Kansas, founder of Gene Kansas / Commercial Real Estate and Creator of Sidewalk Radio, the proud parents spend lots of quality time with their son, Levi London Kansas.
