Debbie Jackson

In the course of working together to complete your real estate transaction, you will share a lot with Debbie about your life and family. It seems only fair that she shares a bit about her with you.

Debbie was born and raised in Pinellas County, Florida. Yes, a rare find, a true Floridian of over 49+ years! Her father is a retired St. Petersburg Police officer. Her mother, whom she lost some years ago, worked for GTE (now Verizon).

True salt-of-the-earth types, they raised her with solid Christian principles and a strong work ethic. They instilled in her that anything worth having is worth working for. As a result, Debbie has relentless energy and determination.

After spending 8 years in Catholic School, she graduated from Northeast High School in 1989 and St. Petersburg College in 1993. She obtained her Associate in Science in Legal Assistance and went to work for 8+ years in the legal profession. She became an expert in contract creation, interpretation, and negotiations.

In 2002, she decided to use her legal experience to do something new. She got her real estate license and started helping people with their moving decisions. She loved it and still loves it. Real Estate isn’t just Debbie’s profession, it’s her avocation. While other agents may dislike having to take continued education classes every year, she welcomes them. Real estate is a challenging and ever changing industry and it is imperative to stay abreast of shifts in the market, lending and regulatory environments.

In 2004 Debbie got her “masters” in real estate by earning the highly respected GRI designation from the National Associational of Realtor’s. She is also a certified HUD foreclosure specialist and an expert in distressed properties and short sales. She is a foreclosure listing agent for Wells Fargo bank. Because of her legal background, she has also been called upon as an expert witness in Real Estate valuation and have testified in the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Pinellas County. In 2017, she obtained her Real Estate Broker License and opened Action Realty in early 2018.
