Debbie Taylor was extremely helpful in finding us a property that fit our needs. We lived in Cleveland Ohio and were relocating to Colorado. Debbie listened closely to our desires and was able to come up with several properties that fit our desires. To be able to work with someone from out of state that would be considerate of our time limited ability to view properties was a big help. “”Debbie is a longtime friend of the family. She was noted by myself, a Principal of Deloitte Consulting, as being very professional and marketing oriented prior to needing her services. We moved to Denver 3 years ago from Cleveland. We have some rather unique needs. We have another large house in the mountains. We do not have children and we have two dogs that need to go out as needed. We originally looked at condos, but going up and down steps or an elevator was not for us. Through a party and networking Debbie found us the 5 year old home with a courtyard in Hilltop. She advised us to “scope” the drainage and we did. Debbie did an absolutely fantastic job on our home purchase. She is very knowledgeable, knew how to negotiate in a challenging situation, helped us get an excellent price on our new property, and anticipated and helped diffuse issues related to deadlines. She knows the Denver market and very quickly figured out what my wife and I were looking for and in doing so avoided wasting time by looking at properties that were just not right for us. She also did this in a way that did not make us feel like we were being steered towards or away from certain properties. She also showed us properties within our stated budget and never pushed us in one cost direction or another. When we looked at properties she also pointed out areas that needed work that we would have missed. Finally, even after we closed she has been helping us out in finding contractors and even let us borrow her lawn mower. We've bought and sold a few properties over the years but this specific sale was something a bit more than the usual. A unique property, a Chinese buyer, a Chinese broker, a Russian lender and their very apathetic appraiser. If it wasn't for Debbie's constant overseeing of the buyer's broker and lender and their ineptitude, we're sure this deal would've fallen through. Somehow Debbie managed to coordinate these issues, going above and beyond her usual responsibilities as a seller's broker including schooling the buyer's broker and lender on how a real estate transaction is supposed to happen. As mentioned, it is a unique property and if it wasn't for Debbie Taylor and her staff, our home would not have sold to these very odd buyers. Chuck R
