It could have been a very stressful experience as we had to find our new Culver City house after we sold our first Culver City home, and there was an historic lack of inventory. This review is long overdue but I am so happy to talk about how wonderful Debbie is and how much she helped us as we searched for our first home (in the midst of COVID, no less!). My husband and I knew shopping for a home wasn’t going to be easy during lockdown, so our first task was to find someone familiar with Culver City and the surrounding area as we needed to find a home that would work with both of our commutes. Debbie worked with us to understand what we were looking for and set us up to receive daily listings that fit our criteria. When we found one that we were interested in, Debbie would reach out to the sellers to get us in to see the house first thing, coordinating all the documentation (Covid statements and pre-approvals) that sellers were requiring at the time to even tour the properties. While on-site, Debbie was discreet but attentive, checking in periodically to see how we felt about a house and give us her thoughts, always keeping in mind what was important to us. She always had a great rapport with the sellers’ agents and even before we started putting in offers, my husband and I felt confident in her ability to be a friendly, but persistent negotiator on our behalf. Debbie proved to be that and more, and she showed us what a truly great negotiator and “closer” she is! Debbie set up all appointments, coordinated all conversations with seller's agents to address any questions or concerns, and gave us valuable market insight during negotiations. Once we were in escrow, she handled all the inspections, forms, communications, and other logistics, guiding us first time homebuyers through the complicated process and taking the time to explain each step and answer all our questions. She was exactly what we needed in an agent, keeping things moving and staying on top of us without being too pushy (very much appreciated as we were new parents as well!).

Some months ago I retained Debbie to sell a 1-bedroom condominium in a logistically-challenged part of a good LA neighborhood. I moved east several years ago and due to COVID could not travel there to prepare the apartment for sale. TL;DR: Debbie is a home matchmaking wizard. She knows Santa Monica and Culver City better than anyone but can find you a house anywhere with her skills and network.

When wife and I walked into an open house and met Debbie there was some type of magic in the air. We connected instantly on what we're looking for. Debbie only followed up when she found a house that fit our criteria and included an explanation why. She never sent endless lists that I could've pulled myself from Redfin - surprising how many brokers do that.
