I live in NC and I went to Florida to visit my parents and help them prepare to move here by me. When my original realtor ghosted me, I reached out to a friend that recently sold her home in Gainesville. She forwarded me Denise Collins of Better Homes and Gardens contact information. I called Denise, and 3 hours later she was sitting in my parent’s living room explaining the whole process to us. She came prepared with tax info and comps from the area! It was a lot of research she prepared in a matter of hours. Because my parents are elderly, I did a lot of the administrative work with Denise. She was always available for questions, informative, timely and professional. We also had an instant connection based on our personalities, and that really helped ease my mind, as I was dealing with the business part of this move for months, and from over 500 miles away. Denise checked in on my parents, walked them through the professional picture process, and walked them through page by page of the contract. Denise even took extra care to protect my mom, who months earlier completed chemo, by putting hand sanitizer and masks by the front door for viewings. Everything Denise did may have been her job, but it felt like we were family as she literally held our hands through this entire process. My parents and I recommend Denise Collins of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, for your next real estate purchase or sale!

Denise is a thoughtful, engaged realtor who helped me, a first time home buyer, find the perfect place, even in a market that seems against buyer’s right now. I never felt pushed to make an offer on a home that wasn’t right for me, and Denise’s experience was invaluable to me as a first time buyer. Denise Collins was recommended to me by a friend living in the Gainesville area, and I worked directly with her for two very full weekends and numerous emails. She was marvelous to work with, listening to my ideas and concerns and pulling up houses that might meet my approval. She knew a lot about the different areas of town. We visited so many houses over those two weekends. She handled all the details, and once I had decided on a house, she 'held my hand' through the whole process of negotiating and finalizing the deal. Highly recommend her as a caring and competent Realtor.
