We closed on our first home 2 weeks ago today after working with Denise Ramey during the worst housing market ever. Along the way since January, when we started putting in offers, it was a rollercoaster of emotions putting in offers on houses with bidding wars and losing to cash buyers. More than once we felt we may not be able to get in a house. But I write with complete certainty Denise Ramey is the ONLY reason we can call ourselves proud home owners.

Listed are 5 reasons/stories Denise Ramey is the best Agent in VA:

1. INTEGRITY to truly make sure the house is right, both emotionally and financially is exceptional and RARE! The house that we finally closed on was the house that we loved, and that Denise thought was a great option, HOWEVER, this was not even close to the most expensive house we looked at by $200K. MOST agents would push their clients to buy the most expensive house they can afford. Denise clearly focused her goal on making sure the house we closed on was the PERFECT house for US!

2. COMMITMENT to her clients. Denise was heading to Richmond to go shopping with her husband on a Sunday when my partner and I found a house on Zillow that we badly wanted to see. We texted her about it, and within 30 minutes she had scheduled us to immediately go tour the property with the listing agent, as the property's deadline was the next day. She immediately drove back to Charlottesville AFTER JUST GETTING TO RICHMOND, pulled info on the property, toured it a second time with us, and wrote an offer with us, then went to present the offer the next day. UNBELIEVABLE!

3. KNOWLEDGE. It's clear from talking with Denise for 3 minutes that she knows the Charlottesville area like the back of her hand. What areas will have better resell, which houses will be over bid, and how much to invest in a house based on location. Not just this but how many contractors and contacts she has to help her clients EVEN AFTER CLOSING.

4. BUYING EXPERIENCE. Denise has perfected the buying experience. The process of lining up and finding inspectors and getting estimates after an offer has been accepted seemed daunting. However, Denise and her team lined EVERYTHING up for us! The closing process was a breeze, we got to enjoy the process without having any of the stress of scheduling! Denise and her team didn't just walk us through the home buying process, they basically just did it for us!

5. COOL & FUN. Buying a house should be as stressful as it is fun! Denise always made us excited even after getting outbid, touring houses with her was very fun, and even though we're THRILLED to be in our own house now, we're going to miss touring houses with her. And also come on, she drives a dang Audi E-Tron, who doesn't want to work with the coolest realtor around!

She quickly determined our interests and showed us only houses that fit our tastes.
