United Country Blue Sky Realty couldn't have acquired a better asset to their team, and this community!
Derek is by far, one of the BEST experiences for a first time home buyer.

When advocating and coordinating negotiations for this veteran in a first-time VA home loan, Derek went above and beyond and was there every step of the way till the end of sale for this Vet.

Having unforeseen struggles throughout the whole transaction, this Veteran walked in to the home buying process unprepared, uneducated and sky high with obstacles and unachievable deadlines, followed by an unforgivable mountain of stress before Derek came along. Derek not only educated him, but kept him in the loop the whole way thru, step by step. He never missed a phone call and never came back without a positive approach no matter what.

The process was more than complicated with so many twists and turns.
A chaotic stress with so many unforeseen events and unachievable deadlines that took place in this whole ordeal, but Derek succeeded every time at putting this veteran's mind and stress at ease the whole way.

When things didn't go as planned and didn't have an answer, he always maintained an honest and hopeful demeanor and strived to produce answers, ideas and options.
Never cut corners, beat around the bush, never missrepresented or withheld info for the bigger buck!
He truly showed through this whole experience, trusting in him to represent you and your best interest for your future and your family was the BEST decision he could have ever imagined.

The commitments this man has respectfully upheld has truly shown he strives for an honest and admirable work ethic that rains true on his personality.

He has showed honesty towards his buyer,
Inspired such perseverance when events took a turn for the worst thinking all hope was lost at one point.

Derek conducted dealings and negotiations with more than a modest and ethical approach, showing more than a honorable professionalism where self control is concerned when dealing with a retired disgruntled combat vet.
When witnessing such a modest personality during walkthroughs and conversations, it made the decision making process so much more confident.

He was courteous and up front instead of cutting corners, and strategizing a beneficial outcome without subjecting himself or his buyer to unethical dealings.
Really looking out for his client that ended up not just benefiting the negotiations but even throwing in some amazing last minute outcomes, surprising us all in the end that truly called for a celebration!

For a realtor to really do his research was not just a plus, but any obstacles or setbacks in any situation throughout for this veteran on his first time as a home buyer, he was on top of his stuff to make sure this buyer had a fair and stress-free process.
It was more than an added bonus.

Working after hours, weekends, holidays and even his own personal families time and events this man has been on call Non-Stop to be there for his client and their family.

A realtor you can actually relate to.
Not just a teacher, a family man, a father who knows and has been there, who reassures you, that you are not alone, that this is a big life change with big life decisions and that it can be made with confidence.
A true teacher and a positive influence on this veterans entire experience and am honored to have witnessed the mottos and beliefs he instills on his clients that encourages those throughout to not lose hope and not give up on your family dream!

Concluding this road was far from easy, but hard work and honesty was the road THIS realtor chose and despite those obstacles in and out of this whole transaction, he constructed it to be a positive learning experience all the way around.

From the minute, I met Derek I knew this was someone that I wanted to represent me in the purchase of a piece of property. He was personable, direct, honest, and showed great integrity.
