I worked with Derek years ago, so when I found out he became a realtor I had no doubt I could trust him and that he would be a true advocate for me. I told him I was downsizing from a 6 bedroom house in Milwaukee to a townhouse in the Mpls area and gave him my specs including room for my 5 cats and wildlife for their entertainment. Derek said finding the right townhouse can be “like finding a needle in a haystack” but he did it! He immediately started sending me listings, and the online tool made it easy to give him instant feedback so he was able to refine his searches to find me the perfect place. He coordinated 8 showings within 24 hours when I came into town (which was an amazing feat in and of itself) and also showed a couple places to my best friend and her parents on my behalf. Derek also made the financing and homeowners insurance easy so all the pieces fell into place with minimal work on my part. He used an awesome inspector and negotiated the price down plus he got me a home protection policy from the sellers (I got a new water heater out of it!). Derek was a dream come true, keeping in constant contact with me by email, text, phone calls and even Facebook messaging, keeping me on track and making my dreaded long distance home purchase easy - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to buy or sell a home!
