Derek Radtke

In 2002, he completed his Broker certification and was recruited by Bluegreen Properties to start up and manage a real estate firm in a new subdivision called Brickshire located in New Kent, Virginia just East of Richmond. The 1000 home community quickly became one of the top ranked golf communities in sales for Central Virginia.

After Bluegreen finished the community, Derek started up his own firm called Virginia Real Estate Network in Chesterfield, Virginia where he focused on representing buyers and sellers throughout Richmond. His concentration on a smaller company and hands on approach was well received by his clients. He created and taught a first time home buyers class for Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation to educate buyers in this ever changing market.

With a strong background in construction, Derek also started Custom Builders Network to represent a number of custom builders throughout Central Virginia. He created and gave seminars on new home construction to property owners looking for a way to locate the right builder and lender as well as learn the construction process.

Derek’s background in Business Management, Accounting, and Computer Information Systems made the move to REMAX a good fit. His management skills, new construction background, hands on approach for buyers and dedication to his seller’s plays an important role as Supervising Broker for REMAX Action.
