About Derek

Originally from Punxsutawney, PA (yes, home of Groundhogs Day), born and raised on a 500 acre farm. When I graduated highschool, I moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 2006. I came here to pursue a career in PGA golf, and to this day, I work with students on the practice tee from time to time.

Several years ago, I discovered that it is possible to have more than one professional passion, I was introduced to the business of Real Estate. Shortly thereafter, I joined The Mills Group at Century 21 Barefoot.

The team here is as passionate and intense as I am, and it truly is an honor to work side by side with them in this extremely exciting time of my life!

I have a lovely wife, Amanda, and 3 wonderful children (18, 16, 8). My family is my #1 support system. I am so blessed to have a family who is always there to help lift me up after a hard day, or to share my/our triumphs at the end of a successful closing.
I want to thank everyone here at Century 21 Barefoot and The Mills Group for all of the support over the years. I am so proud of what we have achieved up to this point!
