In 1981 I graduated college with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Industrial Arts, a fancy way of saying construction. My 1st job after graduation would be working for a Custom Builder where I learned to pick lots, work with the architects, act as a purchasing agent, supervise on-site work, perform accounting services & market properties upon completion to the public. Working for a builder I learned first hand what they wanted and started an Interior Finish Out Company in 1985. In addition to Interior Design services we sold & installed carpet, tile, wallpaper, laminate, wood flooring, sheet vinyl, window treatments & special order furnishings for builder homes.
