08/13/2015 - Steve and Laura Greco Sold a home in 2015. While looking to sell our home, my wife and I met with a few realtors who were discouraging and pushy looking for a quick flip. I am so thankful to have met Diane who not only helped sell our property at a greater value than we expected but in only 19 days. Diane showed up to our first meeting very prepared and wasted no time getting our property listed with plenty of exposure. She then helped us search for and eventually find our future home. She even went out of her way to show me the same house more than once. Diane also tells it like it is and does not try and force you into buying a home. Diane was recommended to us by my husband's coworker. From our first conversation with her we were blown away by her dedication and commitment to helping us, as well as her incredible knowledge about the market and the process of buying a home. From day 1 through to closing, she was reliable, patient, and professional (while also being a lot of fun!). I was incredibly stressed about finances and my ignorance about the whole process, (not to mention that we were super pregnant at the time and so under a time crunch!)... But, Diane continuously helped us to feel confident about the process and we knew we were in good hands. We always had a great time when we met with her which took the pressure off of what we assumed would be a daunting task. During such an important purchase, it really helps to have someone who you can trust and who you feel really has your best interest in mind. I could not recommend Diane more highly. She acknowledges, finds an answer and gets back to you immediately. No fast talk, plain, straight forward information. She's also honest. She'll tell you what you want to hear, right after she tells you what you need to hear. My mother passed away and I became responsible for selling her condo. I had never been through the process of selling a home and didn't even know where to start. Diane made a very difficult time easier to deal with. She was very knowledgable with local home prices and knew what a reasonable asking price for the condo would be. The condo was listed and closed in less than three months and for the original asking price. She kept me informed throughout the whole process and answered any questions I had along the way. It was a warm and breezy Sunday afternoon. Diane met us at the front door of the first property on our list for the day. “I think this is it,” she said, as she led us into the house. And she was right. That house is now our home. House hunting by itself is already such a process, but for my husband and me, we had the added complication of having to plan a wedding at the same time, and I was also working full-time and in grad school full-time as well. We were young, first-time home buyers who were not familiar with the process, not completely sure what we wanted in a home, and were both incredibly busy. For us, Diane was the perfect agent. Several friends who were also young professionals and had successfully used her to purchase their first home recommended Diane to us. After the first house hunting session we had with Diane, we knew she was the right choice. What sets Diane apart from other realtors is how down-to-earth and approachable she is. She is as real as it gets - no tricks, no just telling you what you want to hear, no bs. She told us what we needed to know to make an informed decision, never pressured us into a decision, and was our tireless advocate the entire time. She worked with us around our busy schedules, was flexible and accessible, and was very communicative. We never had an issue of her not getting back to us. You can tell that she really enjoys helping people find their perfect home— it’s not just a job to her. And she’s good at it, which is evidenced by her track record of help people both buy and sell homes.. This is so important because Diane worked with us to narrow down what we wanted (and didn’t want) in a house. For us, finding a house took a year. During this time, Diane proactively searched for listings that fit our criteria, helped us get appointments for houses we found on our own, and before each house hunting session, sent us a PDF of all the houses she had lined up for us to see, and info sheets on each of the houses. Fast forward to the day where we finally found the perfect house. Diane was by our side for every step of the process. She kept us informed, was in constant communication with the sellers and other key people in the process, and made the experience much easier than I’m sure it usually is. We put in an offer for the house that same day, scheduled the inspection for that Wednesday, and a week later, we were in contract. Two months later, we closed. Thank you, Diane, for sticking with us, helping us find the perfect home, and helping to make it the closing process a breeze!

05/18/2016 - defffrek Bought a Single Family home in 2016 in Malverne, NY. Knowing Diane for a few years I knew she was the right person for the realtor job for us. Moving from the city to the suburbs she helped answer a lot of question my wife and i had. I think we had quite a bit of must haves as well as a lot of undecided things that she was great at narrowing down and pinpointing. Her immediate response by either text or email was great when I saw new listings on Zillow that I wanted to check out. She also has great contacts and suggestion when it comes to mortgages, home inspections, insurance, etc. Seeing homes and going to open houses with Diane was more like friends hanging out than a business transaction. My wife and I met with Diane after having bad experiences with other agents and wished I had met her two years earlier. Diane did not handle us. She was honest and direct. The night I put in a request for a realtor to call me about Long Island residences, I really lucked out when Diane called me that same night. She was so nice and we spoke for quite a long while. She asked me what I was interested in looking at for my future home. She told me about herself and I could tell she was very forthright and honest. There isn't any falseness in her. I told her that I am coming from Brooklyn and do not drive the highway and someone would be taking me out to see the prospective homes. She was so considerate of this that the two separate times I was brought to LI, she scheduled so many homes for me to see, knowing I couldn't easily come back and forth. She literally spent the two whole afternoons with me showing me around. She was very adept at bringing me to places she thought I would like. She showed me a wide variety to choose from. I could not come back for a few weeks because my house was sold and I had to continue packing to move out of it. Diane emailed me that she was thinking of me. She said that once I came out to LI and moved into my temporary place, not to worry but to let her know when I am there, and she would help me find my home ASAP. She was true to her word. In a few days we were on the go. I happily found my new home. She also had the inspection set up in less than a week after I found it, and gave me a lawyer's number to contact immediately to get everything set in motion. Thanks to Diane's quick action, I will probably be in my new place in a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend anyone to use her as your realtor. You will not be disappointed. Diane serves as a NYC Police Officer for 20 years, and she is still serving the public. So if you want a good realtor, DO WHAT YOU CAN AND CALL DIANE

I found Diane randomly while looking for a house on line. Thank goodness I did! being a first time home buyer I was absolutely clueless. Diane explained everything in terms that I could easily understand (not to mention numerous times lol) She was extremely friendly, understanding and patient.
