I've worked with Dirk on more than one occasion both in real estate purchases and sales. The reasons to choose him are any number of things. First, he is extremely knowledgeable about the market, different areas (neighborhoods) and offers incredible advice. He also does not push in any way to make decisions one way or another. Does a great job laying out facts and options and helping you know what is best for you. He clearly outlines every step of the process so you feel comfortable knowing what is coming next. Finally, just a genuinely nice person that cares about his clients getting exactly what they wish for.

I highly recommend Dirk Gould as a realtor.

8 years ago, I was looking to buy a place and hired Dirk. It turned out to be a great decision financially.

We saw well over 40 places and Dirk was just as energetic with the last place as he was the first. He provided great research material and explained the housing market thoroughly. I felt well equipped to make a decision thanks to his guidance.

When I was ready to sell 8 years later, Dirk was my first call. He kept in touch over the period to make sure the condo purchase was the right move. I appreciated that personal touch and was happy to give him my business. He earned it and I trusted that his advice would prove to be the correct course of action.

Dirk was professional throughout the process, preparing me early for the need to declutter and prep my place so it was ready to show. He advised me on improvements that would be beneficial and steered me away from unnecessary expenses.

When it came time to sell, Dirk was on top of his game. He was able to negotiate a price with the buyers that was well above list. In fact, one of the things that impressed me the most was his savvy pricing strategy which he explained so that I would understand the process and the reasoning.

In the end, I was able to get a record price for a 2 bed/1 bath condo in my area.

In addition to his realtor skills, Dirk is a former lawyer which helped a great deal as he was able to explain legal terms and assist with dealings with my lawyer.

For anyone who is looking for a personal touch for a sale (and a housing sale is about as personal and life-changing as it gets) I highly recommend Dirk. You will be well taken care of and feel secure in the decision-making process. These are key aspects for anyone going through the stress of a home sale.

Dirk was our realtor who helped us navigate the real estate market which culminated in the purchase of our first home (despite being in a pandemic). Honestly, we cannot say enough positive things about Dirk and our experience working with him. With us being first-time home buyers Dirk was extremely thoughtful and made it a point to show us a wide variety of places to make sure he knew what we were looking for in a place. Dirk did an outstanding job, not only making great recommendations on how my place should be set up and establishing the correct market price, but continued to educate and coach through each process throughout the closing - making what could have been a complicated situation into a simple close.
