Don Butler

Don has been active in real estate for 42 years. His career started in 1972 in Washington, D.C. as a commercial real estate agent with Barnes, Morris & Pardoe. Don joined The Carey Winston Company in Bethesda, Maryland in 1978-84 as Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Sales Department. He formed Washington Property Group, Inc. in 1984 and specialized in land sales for selected clients. Don formed Virginia Property Group, Inc. in 1989 in Winchester, Virginia. Drawing from his earlier real estate experience, VPG is a full service real estate company featuring residential & commercial sales, leasing & management.

Don has been active in many activities in Winchester/Frederick County-Past President of the Blue Ridge Board of Realtors; Past President of Winchester Rotary; Past Elected member of Frederick County School Board; Past Chairman of the Winchester Parking Authority and Old Town Development Board; former member of Finance Committee of Frederick County. He currently serves as a board member of Loudoun Mutual Insurance Company and and Chairman of Our Health.
