She contacted me about the house, told me she could sell it as soon as the tenant was out and she did. She helped tremendously getting the tenant out since I can't there. She determined what would be necessary improvements to sell the house. They were reasonable and seemed necessary. She took care of getting someone to perform the work almost immediately, so she has a very good network of contractor/laborer/cleaning personnel. She helped me engage a local attorney and worked with him to resolve any issues like inspection that were required by the locality. And. most importantly, knowing that the house looked good from the outside but needed a good deal of modernization, she advised that the contract be drawn up such that the house be sold as is:, which turned out to be an excellent protection after the inspector examined every nook and cranny of the house. She followed up with anyone who hadn't completed a task or completed paperwork. And finally she agreed with the price I initially listed and then helped me to make the decision to reduce the price when it seemed appropriate after a complete inspection of the house. I appreciated the advice. It turned out to be sound because the house sold within several weeks of the date it was put on the market. She attended to closing when I couldn't and walked me through my concerns.So the upshot is that I highly recommend Donna as an aggressive, in a good sense, realtor. She has the energy and knowledge to get a house sold quickly at a reasonable price. She was consistently professional and pleasant to work with.

In deciding on a realtor, I did not want to work with one of my friends- there are too many in the business and difficult to choose a favorite. We came upon Donna by happenstance. She responded to my friends' inquiry about a property on Zillow and they met to discuss her own home sale marketing. I was so impressed by my friends experience with Donna that I called her to discuss our home sale. I wanted to work with someone who wasn't pushy, understood our selling needs and someone who would be on site for all showings. We liked Donna from the very start. She was very insightful and experienced with staging our home, market conditions, buyer behavior, and did not want us to spend any capital on unnecessary improvements. In fact, several of the minor improvements we were planning to make, she discouraged and she turned out to be right. In the 6 months our house was on the market, we had multiple low ball offers and Donna shot each one down on site. She knew the real value of our home and was encouraging us to wait for it. The right buyer will come, just wait she said. In the end, we had 2 buyers. Donna was able to get us $20K more from one of the buyers and we accepted that offer.
