As a Southern California native and a longtime resident of the Conejo Valley, Donna Marks has been helping clients buy and sell homes for over 20 years. Her experience in real estate began as a teen in the San Fernando Valley where her parents owned rental properties. Not only did she help to oversee the rental application, credit checking, employment verification and escrow processes but she also assisted with preparing the properties for rent or sale. Working with rental properties was a great foundation for her real estate career. Before delving into real estate, she worked for a boutique Risk Management firm, and that experience helped her protect clients from exposure in real estate deals. Since the Risk Management position required a lot of travel and long hours, she concluded that putting the same energy into her passion for real estate would allow her to stay local and focus on starting a family. Her clients recognize her for her professionalism and expertise. She is strategic, driven and tailors service to her client's specific needs. Her business is based mostly on referrals and the greatest compliment is from her clients who consistently use her services and refer her to their family, friends, and associates. She is sensitive to the fact that she is assisting people with perhaps their largest investment, so she strives to ensure their satisfaction. The buying and selling process can be complex and stressful and it is one of her goals to reduce stress and facilitate a smooth transaction for every client. Some of her hobbies and joys include spending time with her family, paddle boarding, golfing, hiking, and supporting local and national charities.
