Donna Paton of Paton Real Estate took on the sale of our penthouse condo apartment in our complete physical absence. Agreeing on a schedule, Donna immediately went to work, recruiting a mover, who turned out reliable, and overall very satisfactory. After our moving out, Donna organized the removal of the remaining furniture, and a large number of household items. Then, she recruited a company to refurbish the apartment to contemporary tastes. Then, Donna recruited a company preparing the sale presentation, with video of the results provided. Then, most importantly, she quickly found a buyer, offering the list price, and requesting a one month window to closing date. Closing took place as scheduled (not requiring our presence). At every step, Donna informed us immediately, and quickly initiated the next step without delay. You could not wish for a better agent than Donna Paton.

Donna helped us buy our first home a few years ago! She is very knowledgeable about the market and the areas we were looking to purchase our home. Donna also helped us sell our home. She was quick and helpful about getting our house on the market! In both cases, Donna listened to our concerns and made us feel comfortable about our decisions. I interviewed 4 realtors and decided to go with Donna Paton, which was a great decision! Donna is very professional, has a great positive attitude and is such a pleasure to work with. She was creative with her ideas in making recommendations to me and very quickly listed my house and got full price offering 1 week after the open house. If you are a first time seller or like personal interaction with your agent, I would like to Donna Paton. She explained each step of the process clearly and gave us information and possible options so that we could make informed decisions. I especially appreciated the time she took to get to know us and understand our goals. We felt that relationship allowed her to represent us and our priorities well. Donna was quickly available when we had questions which for first time sellers was very reassuring. I especially liked the description that she wrote about our property. It captured the essence of what we loved about our place and eventually resulted in finding us buyers who were attracted to those same aspects of our home and neighborhood. Donna is a really friendly person. She is not just a real estate agent but while dealing with houses she thinks for you as a family member would think and is helpful throughout the process.
