Dot was born and grew up in Florida where she received a degree in Social Science from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She is mother of two grown children - her daughter a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and her son having served in the United States Army, as a Specialist. She enjoys working outside in her garden and, without a doubt, loves The Great Smoky Mountain National Park as her back yard.
Working for General Time in Atlanta, Georgia, as Customer Service Manager, provided the opportunity for her to hone sales and marketing skills. Christian friends, fellowship, and the Great Smoky Mountains drew Dot to East Tennessee where she has made her home for more than 18 years.
