Doug is a true real estate expert, with over 30 years’ experience throughout the greater Kansas City market as a professionally designated and state certified appraiser and 10 years as an award-winning Realtor.

Licensed in both Kansas and Missouri, Doug ranks in the Top 3% of all Kansas City Realtors in sales and volume.

Doug has earned a Hall of Fame Award and Lifetime Achievement Award with Re/Max, and 5 real estate-related professional designations - ABR, SRES, SFR, SRA, RAA. Doug has already received several awards and special recognition after joining Keller Williams Realty Partners in September 2013, and he was one of the Top 10 individual Realtors in Kansas with Re/Max.

Doug is passionate about consistently going above and beyond what is expected by his clients, and he is well known for making the buying and selling experience as fun as possible.

As accomplished as his professional life is, Doug is even more proud of his personal life. Doug is a faithful husband and proud father of 4 children. Doug and his wife have opened up their home to many foster children, and three of their four children have been adopted to become a permanent part of the Mitts family. Doug is active in church and school activities, is a former Special Olympics coach, and has earned the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
