Doug Sutherland has lived in the Charlotte/ Lake Norman area for nearly 40 years, and loves it. "I love the people, the climate, the communities, and their history. How many people do I know who came here to visit family or friends, and ended up settling here? Charlotte and the area surrounding it are a real melting pot for people from all over.
