Douglas Hornecker

As an Upland resident for over 40 years, Doug has seen the Inland Empire go through decades of change and development.

When his family moved to Upland in 1975, they started and successfully operated a construction company. Upon his father’s retirement, Doug took over and managed the business into the early 2000’s. Realizing he had a passion for real estate, Doug entered the real estate business focusing on buying and selling properties. He acquired his real estate license in 2006.

Outside of providing real estate services for his clients, Doug also remained as an investor. As an investor, Doug saw an opportunity to open a family entertainment business of laser tag and opened his first location of Laser Island in Upland for families to have a place to enjoy.

Laser Island became an extremely popular venue for the next 12 years. Doug’s admiration to pursue this venture was fully supported by his wife and their 5 kids making this the picture-perfect family business where he succeeded onto opening their second store in Orange County.

Doug and his family are deeply rooted in real estate investments, and loved to take on properties to fix and flip.

Doug’s expertise in the local real estate market has enabled him to extend his expertise to his clients to help fulfill their dreams in real estate.

For Doug, it’s been very satisfying to serve so many families over the last several decades and it’s icing on the cake that real estate continues to be his passion.
