Drakia Wilkins relocated from Detroit to Chicago in pursuit of a career and education in the Commercial Real Estate industry. Drakia received her B.S. in Real Estate from DePaul University and later, her M.S. in Real Estate from Roosevelt University, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Scholarship for Women in Real Estate. Drakia is as an Office Tenant Representation Professional in downtown Chicago. She specializes in the Chicago CBD market, where she is passionate about servicing a variety of office tenants. Prior to joining Entrust, she earned herself roles with internationally acclaimed firms such as Skidmore Owings & Merrill, CBRE, Duke Realty and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Over the years, Drakia has developed an expertise in business development. It is not uncommon for her to identify exciting, “under the radar” opportunities in the market. She spends a lot of time attending business events in the city and networking with leaders of businesses and organizations. She is known for her bubbly personality and natural ability to befriend strangers, even in business circles.
On a Saturday, you can find her cooking, baking and holding dinner parties for she and her girlfriends. She also enjoys candle-making, to give away as gifts to close friends. Running on Chicago’s lakefront trail and weight lifting are some of her favorite things to do, although she sits out the Chicago winter months. On a Sunday, you can find her fellowshipping at her church New Life Covenant Southeast, and is very excited about their ongoing plans for the transformation of the Grand Crossing Community.
