As a family who just arrived in the US from Europe during Covid, Duncan and Abby did an incredible job and were very supportive with us. They always defended our interest over closing a the transaction and always giving us the best advice for every step in the process. They truly cared about us and we are still in touch nowadays post-closing. On top of that they are expert negotiators with a huge experience of the real state business and all neiborhoods in Boston. I worked with Duncan on the sale of my penthouse condo in Charlestown in April 2020, in what I hope was the darkest hour of the Covid epidemic. I had started with another highly reputable agent, but immediately ran into a considerable disagreement on price after signing the listing agreement.

After considerable wrangling, the agent released me from the agreement and I signed with Duncan. One of the better and more impactful single business decisions I've ever made, yielding minimally $100k in additional sale proceeds, likely substantially more.

Duncan and his team were the perfect contrast to the other agent. Incredibly responsive, hard-working (I often reached Duncan doing touch-up work in the then-vacant condo), and effective. Also a genuinely positive person and consequently a real pleasure to work with.

Duncan's knowledge and confidence regarding when, how, and at what price to list as one of the first substantial Charlestown properties going to market in Covid was of crucial value to me. He was convicted that we could fetch $100k more than the prior agent's asking price, and we did, with a cash buyer who was able to close on our condensed timeline.

Duncan's broad real estate advice- before, during, and after the sale process - evidences remarkable learning from his 20 years in the business.

Even at the risk of doing a disservice to Duncan and any reader of this review by coming across as biased, I simply cannot recommend Duncan strongly enough. Thinking hard on the experience, I cannot recall something I wish he'd done better.

Highly likely to recommend. From our introductory conversation over the phone to the closing, Duncan was a true pleasure to work with. He fully immersed himself in all aspects of the real estate transaction, taking the time to educate me as a first-time homeowner on the many elements that are important to evaluating a property to the many steps required to finalize a deal. We had a number of brainstorming discussions as we looked at units early on in the search process so that I could develop a better feel for comparables in the neighborhood. Then during the bidding process, he was able to customize the two offers to match the circumstances so that I would maximize my odds while not overpaying. More specifically, he used his keen local knowledge of property prices at that time to win out over six other offers by a slim margin on a condo that received a high level of interest at the open house. Later on during the inspection process, not only did Duncan recommend an outstanding inspector but he was engaged in helping me to prioritize, sort and negotiate with the selling agent those repairs that needed to be addressed. Highly likely to recommend. We were moving from the suburbs of New Jersey to Boston, with no knowledge of the neighborhoods. After getting to know us over a cup of coffee. Duncan came up with a strategy. We toured a few neighborhoods, narrowed down the search to two areas and after a short time, he found the perfect place in Back Bay.
