Wow. Working with Sichan Hul, my Ashburn realtor was wonderful! First, she did her research and advised me on the best list price based upon the surrounding comps. That means, prospective buyers and their agents respected the listing from day one. Sichan gave me great advice on working with contractors to prep the house for sale. Once again this led to prospective buyers offering to waive appraisal, finance and home inspection. The open house was fabulous and the Fox Team even ordered a food truck! The listing photos were professional and her marketing ads targeted and got 100k views. To me, the most impressive aspects of working with Sichan is her due diligence and her transparent and open communication with me. Her people skills and realtor experience led to a smooth and efficient process from contract to closing in less than 3 weeks...ahhh, not to mention I got significantly above my list price.

Together with associate Faith Saunders, the Fox team did an outstanding job for us in listing, preparing and selling our house in Vienna, VA in summer 2021. Highlights of their service included attention to detail, excellent communications, shrewd marketing strategy and outstanding references to experts on staging and local vendors of services for implementing their advice.
In particular, the team provided excellent contacts for moving and repair. Also important, when we--like most sellers--pushed for a higher listing price, the Fox team responding with intelligent explanations of how then-current market conditions underpinned their listing recommendations.
Since we were selling during the summer busy season, we only saw Dustin a few times and Devon not at all. Nevertheless, Faith Saunders, was always available and in contact with all of the various elements needed for a successful transaction.
Our only huge regret was not taking their advice on selecting a local mover and painter initially; we came to regret our decisions, but we couldn't blame the Fox team for them. They were ours. In conclusion, we recommend the Fox team highly and without reservation.

I had gone through this process 4 times within the last 12 years with different realtors, regret that I didn’t find Denise Vu sooner. Our last property sold in Fairfax VA has been stress free. She was there for us in every steps of the way, showing up every weekends for open houses. Never pushed us and give us a lot of options. We were struggling with an impending high-stress, out-of-state move; disappointed by the lack of communication from our previous realtor. Then, we remembered the good experience a friend had in a similar situation and called her realtor, Kathy Kchao. Prior to our meeting, Kathy did her homework, zeroing in on what made our property and our neighborhood special. She came with a strong marketing plan; including targeted ads on Zillow and Facebook, “Coming Soon” teaser, effective staging, video tour, showing schedule and Open House with a hosted food truck. In the short time we had to prepare to go to market, Kathy was the calm in the storm; checking in regularly, even sending us extra packing supplies to help us get ready for the big move. The Details ------------------ We planned to interview 3 agents, but after our very first interview, we hired Dustin and Stephanie on the spot. We felt very comfortable doing so because: - They were extremely well-prepared. They indicated their in-depth knowledge of the local area and market conditions with detailed facts and figures. - They clearly described the services they would be providing. They outlined their marketing efforts and defined specific goals for maximizing exposure on a variety of platforms, both before and after the MLS listing. Their effective usage of all available resources was very impressive. - They were patient, thorough and straightforward in answering all our questions. We appreciated their candid assessments and appropriate suggestions.
That was a great start, but their execution was even better: - They exceeded their marketing goals, and they were innovative in their promotion (e.g. ice-cream trucks at open houses) to make our property stand out. - They nailed the list price. We felt we got the maximum exposure and best possible result for the sale of our apartment. - They were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Even though our property was on the lower end of the range in which they usually operate, it always seemed like we had their undivided attention. - They work with great people. The contractors they recommended for replacing the flooring did an outstanding job. The title company they use processed our settlement efficiently and pleasantly. - All of these factors combined to make for a very simple, stress-free sale.
Stephanie deserves special mention because she truly is a superstar: - Many people perform well when things go smoothly, but it's adversity that reveals a person's true character. Due to neglect on my part, Stephanie sustained a severe toe injury while we doing staging of the apartment. Despite the obvious discomfort, she continued to arrange, clean and polish until everything was ready. A couple of days later, she spent several hours on her feet conducting a successful open house. We were very impressed by her toughness, dedication and professionalism. - She wrote up a compelling and detailed property description for the listing, and her brochures were very attractive and effective. - She was responsive at all times and proactive in her messaging. - She did an awesome job handling contingency negotiations, and her savvy advice on when to accept an offer was spot on. - She continuously acted in our best interests. Even after we'd indicated that we were ready to accept the offer, she was still able to successfully negotiate an increase in the selling price.
In Summary: This was our best experience ever in many such transactions. The next time you need a real estate agent, do yourself a big favor and talk to Dustin and Stephanie – you'll be very glad you did.

My boyfriend and I are first home buyers. We initially had a rocky start with the first realtor we worked with. After deciding to look for another realtor, we reached out to Kathy Kchao. She took us right under her wings and guided us through the home buying process from search to close. No question was too big or too small for Kathy. She was very responsive, always on time, and did all the heavy lifting for us. The biggest thing that indicated we chose the right realtor was Kathy truly made us feel like a priority to her. Would absolutely work with her again!

We closed yesterday. Faith Saunders was our agent. In all my previous house hunts, agents show me a whole bunch of properties, that were ok, but not good enough for my taste to place an offer on it. I am sure, it sounds familiar to anyone, who went through dozen, if not hundred of properties. It's exhausting, it's depressing. You start doubting that good house exists for your budget. Then you either lower your expectations or increase the budget.
With Faith, it was different. We put an offer on a first house we visited. It didn't go through. So Faith found us a place that was very similar, if not better, for the second showing. We put an offer and now we own the place. It's hard to say, how we did money-wise, in this market (this was written in June '21). I don't think there is such a thing as "good deal" for buyers at the moment.
To summarize: Faith gets what you want. You will save time and effort. Highly recommend.

Searching for a rental in Spring of 2021 was a crazy experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone - homes were being listed and taken off the market within 24 hours. Things felt hopeless, but Faith was by my side the entire way. She was incredibly professional, always available when I needed her, and even worked with me across time zones (doing virtual showings) to make sure I ended up in a place I loved!
After two failed applications, I asked her for advice on how to make my application more competitive and the answer she gave me is 100% the reason my next application was successful and I secured my dream home.
On top of her incredible business expertise, she was wonderfully sweet and supportive through what is, in the best of times, a stressful process. When I buy my first home, I DEFINITELY plan to work with Faith.

This will be a somewhat lengthy review, so if you don’t make it to the end, let me begin by saying this: Dustin and Devon are the best! I am 99.99% confident that you will be glad you chose them to help you sell your house or to buy one. My wife and I certainly are! There are just so many good things to say about them.
On the selling side, they really go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that your house is seen by as many eyes as possible, and they will guide you in a way so that you will get top dollar for your house. We have never sold a house before. When we came to Dustin and Devon (after doing our due diligence and vetting the top four candidates that we felt were the cream of the crop), it was our first experience as home sellers, and they really walked us through the process hand-in-hand. And, as I mentioned earlier, they really do go above and beyond. We felt this especially when we started looking for our new home (after a very successful sale), and were more attentive to what other realtors were doing. Dustin and Devon really did much more than they needed to – and I believe that’s because they really do things with excellence; they don't just provide good service or satisfactory service, but outstanding service. As we toured potential homes, we saw what other realtors were not doing that our realtors (Dustin and Devon) had done. And we feel the extra mile that they took really made a difference. So, while our house itself may have been your average house, Dustin and Devon helped us to really make it into a sought-after house, so we were able to get a lot of good, strong offers.
On the buying side, this was our second rodeo, so we do have a point of comparison here. Our first realtor (for our first house) was OK, but really didn’t feel like she was doing much (sorry to say). Working with Devon (mostly Devon when it came to buying while working mostly with Dustin when it came to selling), the difference was noticeable. Devon (and Dustin) offered us great advice to help us get a great house in a very tough market. We really do feel that if it wasn’t for them and the advice they gave, we would have lost the house that we just settled this past week! It’s really important to have a realtor that you can trust and that you know is doing their best for your best interest; and we do trust Devon and Dustin in that way. Working with them, you can feel that they do care about you. You’re not just a client, but you’re someone who is very important to them. like I said multiple times (and it does need to be stated multiple times) they go above and beyond – in just about every area.
So, if you’re considering Dustin and Devon, again, let me say that you will be so glad if you choose them. They are clearly top-notch – a cut above the rest. We will definitely be recommending them to everyone that we know. We were very satisfied with them. Dustin and Devon helped us get a fairytale ending in a market that has been a nightmare for many (in part because COVID-19). I am confident that they can do the same for you.

The first agent I hired could NOT get any of the 4 offers I submitted accepted. I was starting to have doubts about buying a house in this market. After sharing my frustrations with my cousin, she recommended Stephanie. She mentioned how Stephanie was able to get her first offer accepted so I immediately reached out to with a list of houses I wanted to look at asap. She was very accommodating during the entire 2-week process with; late night calls, early morning meet-up and responded to all my questions/concerns quickly. Two weeks later, I found my dream home but didn’t think it would be within reach after bidding started. When I expressed this to Stephanie, she explained to me how I could still be competitive without having to be the highest priced offer. Her confidence and knowledge of the market eased my worries, and we submitted the offer. Two days later, Stephanie called and said our offer was in top 5 out of 14. This news had me excited and worried at the same time, top 5 was great but I wanted the house bad so we made a couple tweaks on her recommendation. That same evening, our offer was accepted. I was speechless, 14 offers and ours got accepted! I am very thankful to have work with such a knowledgeable professional. Highly recommend her to all looking to buy/sell a home. My friends and I recently had the pleasure of working with Shruthi Shyamala as we searched for a rental in the Alexandria/Arlington area. As new college graduates, we struggled with the rental process, faced a lot of competition and began to give-up our hopes of finding a 4-bedroom together. We were so fortunate to come into contact with Shruthi when we did! Shruthi was kind and understanding, quick to respond, hands on and truly treated us with her best interests. Dustin and Devon Fox are topnotch professionals. Dustin arrived at our first meeting fully prepared with comps, photos and a marketing plan for our home. We started our journey with a visit from Cass, their staging professional. Cass walked through our entire house giving us suggestions along the way and taking photos. We received a comprehensive staging plan, complete with photos, the next day. Dustin's and Devon's three week coming soon ads on Facebook really created interest in our home. Our listing went live on a Friday and there were 42 showings booked for the weekend in addition to the open house on Sunday. Around 60 families came through during our open house, complete with a food truck for our neighbors and prospective buyers to enjoy. Needless to say, we had multiple offers and were able to sell our house over asking. During our journey, both Dustin and Devon were quick to respond to any question we had, no matter how insignificant. From our first conversation, I was very impressed with Dustin and Devon Fox. They both demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Dustin arrived at our first meeting well prepared with recent sales of comparable homes and helped us understand the climate of the local real estate market. The Fox team presented us with a solid marketing plan, laid out realistic expectations, and then followed through with all promises. They provided a professional stager who came to the house and provided many ideas on ways we could maximize the appeal of our home with furniture placement and small improvements. Dustin and Devon then followed through by helping us prioritize the stagers suggestions and come up with a plan that would maximize the curb appeal of our home. Next, the Fox team provided a professional photographer who took high quality photos of both the interior and exterior of our home. To bring everything together, Dustin and Devon implemented a multi-pronged marketing approach in order to reach the highest number of potential buyers. Our home received thousands of views and hundreds of saves before it was even live on the market through Dustin’s use of targeted FaceBook ads, local mailed advertising, and real estate apps. The Fox team maintained a high level of communication throughout the entire process, and was very prompt at answering all of our questions and concerns as they arose. During the open house they focused on cultivating a stress-free environment for potential buyers, provided beautiful color brochures that highlighted the home, and they even hired a food truck from a local company for this event! Dustin and Devon Fox were fantastic at selling our townhome. I will be honest; I was skeptical initially, because I followed their Facebook for awhile before contacting them, and saw that they often had luxury listings; I wasn't sure that my little townhouse would get the same exposure as those multi-million dollar listings. I'm not afraid to say I was very wrong. First, Dustin and Devon sent out their stager, Cass, who was great to work with. Ultimately, we went a different direction, and ended up selling a vacant home due to COVID concerns during the pandemic, but having the staging recommendations was great had we decided to sell while the home was occupied. The one thing that they strongly encouraged us to do was invest in new carpeting and paint throughout - and promised us that we would get our return when we went to sell. Again, they were 100% correct.
As soon as we had the exterior ready, Dustin came over to get drone pics to start the "Coming Soon" marketing, which took place while the renovations were being completed. During this period, I could see on Zillow and Facebook the activity and interest that was being generated. Once the renovations were complete, Dustin sent over his preferred photographer for interior pics, and added some virtual staging. The pictures looked amazing, and the home went live that Friday. Devon handled the weekend's open house like a boss, and, by that Monday, we were under contract with competing offers and an escalation in price nearly $10K over asking. Other homes in the neighborhood were on the market for weeks prior and after ours was sold - a true testament to the power of having phenomenal real estate agents who aren't afraid to spend money upfront to market your home and generate a lot of interest and ultimately get it sold quickly. For perspective - our home went on the market 8/21/20, and was under contract by 8/24/20 and we closed 9/15/20. We sold our home, start to finish in less than a month!
If you are selling a home, I cannot recommend Devon and Dustin strongly enough! If you want to take the stress out of the whole process, I promise you, they're the way to go!

After trying to sell my home as-is on Zillow by myself and receiving only one low offer, I realized I needed a professional. I interviewed 6+ r/e agents/teams. Some were very impressive and some not. I narrowed them down to 3 and chose Dustin based on personality/enthusiasm, professionalism, plan of action and cost (I needed to do a lot of repairs). It has worked out better than I could have hoped! He has an absolutely excellent contractor he referred me to who got the home in proper shape to sell at a very reasonable price. My daughter and I bought a house together and I sold my townhouse at the same time. The best decision that we ever made was reaching out to Dustin Fox to show us the house that we thought looked like "home" the first time that my daughter, granddaughter and I saw it. Can’t say enough about Dustin. Caring, hard-working, easy to work with, and meticulous— the perfect agent to lead the sale of our house. He did his homework on valuation, understood the market and absorption factors relating to our sale. But what really differentiates Dustin is his understanding of modern marketing methods, including social media penetration. He was able to measure trends in buyer views, conduct differential testing of marketing strategies, and adjust marketing techniques as time went by based on what was working and what was not. Further, he understood the dynamics of open house marketing methods, knew when the optimum times would be to conduct an open house (to not waste our time), as well as leveraging other marketing opportunities to increase buyer traffic. If you are looking for an old school, “list the property in MLS and hope for the best” realtor, then Dustin is not your man. But if you are looking for someone who aggressively spearheads real estate marketing methods using modern 2020 methods, then look no further than Dustin. Average days on the market for our neighborhood was about 300—he sold our house in about 90. He promised us a sales price above what other agents said the property would go for, and then delivered on that promise.

I can not say enough amazing things about Dustin and Devon; nor can I even begin to express how lucky we are to have found them to help us with our search! We initially chose them based solely on their amazing online reviews, and they certainly did not disappoint. Through our search, their wealth of knowledge and style certainly proved their worth.
While the process of home buying was much more difficult than we'd imagined, based on the levels of competitiveness, Dustin and Devon gave us excellent guidance, unflagging availability, and deep knowledge about a really wide range of homes that we looked at. Particular high points were helping us extricate ourselves from a seller who ended up behaving in a really sketchy manner after we'd made an offer, release us from a contract when we discovered a crumbling foundation during the inspection process and in helping us find ways to make competitive offers in a market where we were regularly outbid by thousands over the asking prices.

As a first time seller, trying to sell my condo while residing out of state, I was worried about finding the right real estate agent. Dustin was great to work with.
I interviewed three different real estate agents before I settled down with Dustin. I had a property manager who is also a real estate agent but I picked Dustin for the following reasons:
- Very prompt in replying - Hands on in various aspects of the process such as house prepping, photo taking, formulation of advertisement and marketing strategy such as social media ads, etc. - Dustin clearly explained his strategy for marketing and what to expect including the "Coming soon..." approach - I requested an estimate of costs involved in the sale and he provided a detailed report. (It turned out to be a pretty good estimate but I didn’t know about it at that time of course J) - Because of where Dustin was located in relation to my property he also offered to lower the commissions
Finally he even gave me some advice on renting the property if I chose to do so instead of selling. His advice would have saved me money if I had chosen to continue to rent out. I thought this was above and beyond advice and I appreciated it.
Once I signed up with Dustin, things progressed without problems and I did get a good offer even before going to market, while still being in the "Coming soon..." stage. It is a testament to his process.
After the offer, during the home inspection process, some repairs were identified. Dustin outlined choices to handle it. When it ended up requiring fixes, Dustin obtained multiple estimates for the repairs. I was concerned if the estimates and actuals were going to be much different since the estimates were given without in-person inspection. Dustin even offered and ended up splitting the increase in cost over the estimate to speed up the process without having to wait for in-person inspections. One point I want to make here is that the handy man that Dustin suggested was also great to work with. When he found out that the actual work was more than he estimated, he still stood by his estimate and honored it. It shows that Dustin selects a good team of people to work with.
Finally, the settlement process was a breeze. All the documents from the initial contract to settlement were all done electronically which I am comfortable with.
At the end of the day, real estate buying and selling is an involved process that can be daunting especially for first time buyers and sellers and more so if you are trying to do so without being located in the same area. The process does require that one does his or her homework. And when you are ready to work with a real estate agent I would recommend Dustin 100% without hesitation.

We had excellent communication from Day 1 of our home sale. I just closed on a home with Devon and Dustin representing me as a buyers agent. The entire process went smoothly but here's why these two Realtor's stand out from the rest.
Dustin recommended to use one of his trusted mortgage lenders to get a pre-approval letter. I explained the 20+ year relationship I had with my bank and told him i'd give his referral a try "just" to compare. So glad I did because not only was my interest rate 1.2% lower with the other bank I ultimately chose to go with his referral because of his responsiveness and overall customer service.
I'm a researcher who does my homework. I downloaded every app to see newly listed homes as quickly as possible so I wouldn't miss out. We toured several homes but nothing I fell in love with. Devon took it upon herself to reach out to their network of Realtors hoping to find a house not on the market yet and she was successful! We were able to see it the next day and made an offer before other buyers (competition) even knew it was available.
The offer! I found my dream home during a financially "sellers market." Like many buyers my heart started outweighing my brain but Devon and Dustin were there to guide the process! They understood I did not want to spend over my top line budget should another offer pop up creating a bidding war. Dustin suggested we get creative with the offer to include a lease back option and clauses in the inspection that were fair and desirable to both buyer and seller. That coupled with a little charm from my Realtor team got the job done without a battle!

Over a year ago, we decided to begin looking for our "forever home" and had an extensive and very particular list of wish list items. Devon was extremely patient with us as we toured numerous houses. She always provided us valuable input but was honest with her opinion and never pushy in order to make a sale. Dustin Fox is my agent of choice, hands down!
In the process of listing my mother’s home, I went online to research and seek referrals for 3 real estate agents. Within seconds, Dustin was the first to respond to my inquiry, and I set up an appointment to meet (and interview) him the next day. After speaking with Dustin, we were completely confident that he would not only be proactive, understood the market, had sound sales tactics, but also was sensitive to our personal situation. Within a matter of days, Dustin had professional photos and video created, leveraged the full strength of social media to test the marketability and sales price, drive interest in the property, and prepare for the first open house. Through his “coming soon” tactics, Dustin had two qualified buyers, one of whom made an offer - at full price - even before the house officially hit the market.
Dustin is a fantastic communicator and kept us apprised throughout the process. He’s transparent, compassionate, committed. 2017 has been a challenging year for our family - but I can honestly say this was one aspect that was completely stress free, and I can’t thank him enough. He won our hearts and our future business - when the time comes to sell our home, we will put it in the hands of Dustin Fox.

I picked Dustin from a shortlist I develoed. He was in ny view clearly above the rest. Ivlive in Florida and needed to sell my house long distance. Dustin was my eyes and ears and I relied on him from a to z. From the sublime to the ridiculous. Dustin went well beyond what I believe a real estate agent would normslly do. I never heard him say he was busy. He acted like I was his only client when I know that is not the case. His resources helped me conplete the sale and the move as painlessly as possible. Dustin and Devon were simply amazing at helping me find my perfect first home! Being a first time home buyer can be a very overwhelming and stressful process but Dustin was there every step of the way. He started by connecting me with an amazing lender and taking down all of my needs and wants in my new home. He truly listened to me as a client and made sure to help guide me through every single part of the process. He was always there to answer any questions I had, show me as many houses as I wanted and made sure to reach out immediately with any new information he may have received starting from the initial offer to the day of settlement. When I found my prefect home, the punch list of items to be fixed was a tad lengthy and one was pretty major as far as cost but Dustin was able to get everything requested approved and fixed!! My first home is everything I could have asked for and I would suggest for anyone looking to start the home buying adventure to reach out to Dustin and Devon. They will be there to guide you from start to finish. I can honestly say that having such a thorough and supportive Realtor made my experience being a first time home buyer much less stressful and in the future when I think about moving, I know exactly who I will call!!

Devon Fox went above and beyond to help me and my children relocate from Miami, FL to Fairfax, VA. We were not able to fly up and physically view places so Devon learned what we liked and what we didn't like and made it a priority to daily view available places and FaceTime us with tours. She made this difficult time a little easier in putting 150% into assisting our search for a home. Devon is amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend her and Dustin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy Realtor.

Dustin was with us in the sale of our home every step of the way. He is a young experienced realtor who understands how people shop for homes. He was able to sell our home a week before it was on the market at top dollar with a quick closing. He is trustworthy and never pressured us but sent us personal letters so he could help us sell. His manners were a blessing and we enjoyed his endless phone calls, stopping by, and keeping us informed every step of the way. My husband and I would highly recommend him as an expert that was born and raised right here!

This was he first time my wife and I ever bought a home and the Foxes made it an amazing experience. From start to finish it was white glove service, and we looked at so many properties. We never felt rushed or pushed. I fully expected them to get sick of our indecisiveness. Never once did that happen. Every time we asked to see new places we got a quick response and a timely appointment to view said properties. I think I've found my realtors for life.
