Dwayne has developed, owned and operated several multi-million dollar businesses with over 250 employees within the insurance, finance, healthcare and real estate sectors.
His past real estate projects include the acquisition and operation of Ambassador Metroplex, a 120,000’ Class A office property in Lafayette, Louisiana, multiple Louisiana residential developments, site selection and acquisition for a national chain, and the repurposing of a Louisiana newspaper publishing facility as a business incubator for small businesses. Recently, he has purchased a 30,000’ Class A office building on Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin, Florida.
His talents have been recognized by the Opelousas - St. Landry Chamber of Commerce, the Opelousas Economic Development Council and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, who invited Dwayne to participate in his 2008 Gubernatorial Transition Team.
In addition to holding real estate licenses in Louisiana and Florida, Dwayne is an avid aviator, having secured his FAA Flight Instructor and Commercial Pilot Certificates with Multiengine and Instrument ratings prior to age 21.
He is married to Anita Hargroder (née Constantine) and they have 4 daughters. Their eldest daughter, Amber, co-founded Words by Sørensen, a copywriting and branding firm in Chicago. Their daughter Elizabeth is a Neuroscience graduate of Tulane University and is currently attending LSU Medical School in New Orleans, while their youngest daughter, Jacqueline, is an honor student at Niceville High School. However, Victoria was the only one of his girls who inherited a passion for real estate, making her the perfect partner for this family business.
