As a native New Yorker that has lived in the New York suburb of Florida for 10 years, vacationed every year at my investment in Hawaii for 15+ years (and still do), spent a number of years over the pond living in the West End of London covering Europe for IBM, and traveled the U.S. and the world for most of my life, I can tell you from first-hand experience that there is nothing like our market for Real Estate. It can be tough, complex, and dog-eat-dog, but there's nothing more rewarding for me than delivering results that build life-long relationships with my clients.
As a 21-year veteran of information technology, I have held positions from administrator to sales rep to manager to vice-president, but it has always been sales every time and I suspect it always will be. For me, helping people find solutions to their challenges is what drives me to get up each and every morning. While technology plays an important part of the buying, selling, and renting of homes -- it allows me to deliver new levels of service unthinkable just a decade ago -- I strongly believe the human element is what really counts and too often gets lost in translation in this industry.
