Elia holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Sonoma State University. She is also a graduate of the esteemed Barbara Brennan School of Healing, where she has dedicated more than 1 decade focused on learning the art of alternative healing modalities. Elia is one of a very select few practitioners, throughout all of California, to have successfully attained a highly-specialized CranioSacral Therapist Diplomate Certification from the Upledger Institute. She is also skilled in lymphatic drainage and is a certified massage therapist in the state of California. At the Barral Institute, she completed specialized studies focusing in Visceral and Vascular Manipulation (working with organs and the vascular system), Neural Manipulation (working with nerves), and Manual Articular Manipulation (working with joints). At the Chickly Health Institute she studied manual techniques that directly address specific structures of the brain and spinal cord. After refining her skills in personal process and spirituality for four years, she graduated from the Pathwork of California program in Southern California. Elia interned as a marriage and family therapist, counseling more than 1,000 hours with adults and children. She now focuses her practice on Manual Therapy and helping improve the quality and function in her client’s lives. It brings her great fulfillment to help others and she is passionate about her work.
