Ellen Chamberlain

I am a Norfolk native and am happy to have spent the past decade raising my children here and enjoying all our community has to offer. I truly love my hometown, not just for the friendliness of the people, the fabulous diversity, amazing arts scene, outstanding restaurants and mild climate, but for the truly special community atmosphere. I received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in American Civilization, and had a career in interior design, before I became a full-time mother in 2001. I now have four children, Katie, Trey, Read and Mallory. I enjoy volunteering and fundraising for their schools, and have gained much insight into both the public and private schools in our area. I have children currently attending both. My husband, James, has been both a small business owner and government contractor for the Department of Defense here in Hampton Roads. We both grew up in old homes and learned to love the renovation process. We have owned and renovated three homes of our own and built one new construction. I understand first-hand the needs of a busy family and work hard to ensure my clients expectations are met and exceeded in every transaction. I would be happy to help you with a smooth transition into our community or to explore the possibility of locating just down the block as we natives often do.
