Elly grew up mainly in Madison, WI, and is a strong supporter of social justice, tree-hugging, and community building. She went to undergrad at a Quaker College in Indiana and learned even greater respect for varied viewpoints and teamwork. Elly returned to Madison for her graduate education. Upon finishing her degree, Elly moved to Seattle at the beginning of 2010 and moved to the Newcastle area in 2013.
Elly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese Studies from Earlham College and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Elly began her Real Estate practice through a 6-month mentorship with a very seasoned Broker at Windermere Bellevue Commons. Since then, she moved into her own solo business with great real-world experience and has enjoyed being able to effectively help clients find or sell their homes. As a therapist, she learned to listen well and have an eye for detail which she uses to assist clients in not only finding good homes but finding the homes that they really want.
Elly is dedicated to continually enhancing and honing her skills, as well as seeking out ways to network with other professionals in the business. She believes that keeping current truly matters to how well she can serve clients. She has been working with Real Estate coaches such as Michael Fanning and Nicole Mangina Group since early 2016 to improve client experience, refine her skills, & provide tailored services that meet client needs and exceed their expectations. By empowering clients with information and setting up a good process for them, she enables them to make informed decisions which cut down on stress. It is her belief that home buying and selling can actually be fun!
