She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University and holds graduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Before directing her energies to real estate, she had an interesting background in university teaching and management. She is a member of the Executive Board of the San Francisco Opera Guild, is a Board member for the San Francisco Symphony 's Silicon Valley League, and also volunteers as an alumni admissions interviewer for Brown University.
