Erik serves as Executive Vice President for Divaris Real Estate’s Washington, D.C. office and specializes in landlord and tenant representation, investment sales, land acquisitions, assemblage and mixed-use developments in the D.C. metropolitan area. Erik is known for leveraging his unique experience and market knowledge to create new and better ways of exposing properties to the right people. Utilizing the extensive resources of Divaris Real Estate, Realty Resources, and the CCIM Institute, he captures the highest success rates for his clients. Erik has a significant track record working side-by-side with developers for site selection, design, lease-up, and dispositions.
Erik started his real estate journey interning with Long & Foster in 1998 after graduating from Herndon High School (along with LoopNet's very own Ben Adams!), receiving his brokerage license in 2005 after completing his B.S. at Radford University. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning Rookie of the Year in 2006 and then Top Producer Awards nearly every year since 2008 while managing his team the Ulsaker Group, LLC since 2009. Once a DC resident, Erik now resides in the City of Falls Church with his wife and two children.
