Erika Furlong is a Realtor® with HomeSmart. She is dedicated to her clients, bringing decades of experience in working with the public and expertise in inter-agency relations.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Finance. She went on to work in the industry as a mortgage loan originator. Her experience in the lending field allows her to lead her clients through the whole process of buying or selling a home with confidence. Her close relationships with her preferred lenders are further enhanced with her knowledge in that field to make the process seamless for her clients. Her background also includes working with law enforcement and military personnel. This brings the understanding of the challenges that these individuals can face in buying or selling a home while deployed or working various hours.
In addition, Erika is the oldest of five children, she has four younger brothers….yes four, and a grown son. She understands and embraces the importance of family. She loves the outdoors and staying active both physically and in the community. She can frequently be found hiking or exploring with her dog SIXX or volunteering with a disaster response team. She loves all kinds of music and frequently attends music festivals all around the US. She owns a home in Goodyear, AZ in the community of Rancho Mirage.
Erika is fluent in English and Spanish. She is a member of The Influencers, Peta, ASPCA, Tem Rubicon, and Goodyear Pups of AZ. She is certified to work with children on the Autism Spectrum, she has found that this greatly helps families also facing extra challenges.
Fun facts, Erika was once on VH1 through work, consulted with the CSA on The Apprentice for an episode, translated for the Attorney General’s Office of NH, and was a Justice of the Peace for the state of New Hampshire
