Over the three years I worked with Erika, she consistently provided exceptional service and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to helping me find the perfect home, despite MY wavering “must have”s, and “I’m definitely ready now”s. Erika's professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail are truly impressive, and her ability to understand my unique (and annoying) needs and preferences was unparalleled.

Throughout the entire process, Erika was always there to guide me, answer my MANY questions, and offer valuable insights and advice. She was proactive in her approach and went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the search process. She understood that I was past the typical “starter-home” age/phase in life, but still needed to work with a “starter-home” budget. I remember her text - “THIS is your house!” and, before it even hit the market, we had seen it and put an offer in, and the rest is history.

Erika was patient, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction, and never once did I feel pressured in to something I wasn’t 100% sure on. Her expertise in the real estate market is second to none, and her knowledge of the NOVA area is invaluable in finding the perfect home.

Overall, I cannot recommend Erika Potter enough. She is an exceptional realtor who is dedicated to providing her clients with the best possible experience. Erika is the most AMAZING realtor! My family of 5 had to quickly uproot and move homes under extremely stressful circumstances. She not only took us to see what seemed like a million homes, but she also kept us from making horrible emotional decisions. She knows her clients well and only has their best interests at heart. I was traveling a lot for work at the time and trusted her to find me the perfect home (with a long list of requirements) without me having to go look myself - and she delivered! I’ve recently sold a property and Erika was my realtor.

Erika was an absolute pleasure to work with and handled all matters with professionalism, ingenuity and grace. Due to the nature of the circumstances (pandemic, it was a rental property so there hadn’t been a lot of cosmetic up keep over the last five years, a horrible decision to paint a 40 foot wall when you enter deep blue when originally purchased, etc) we faced some issues throughout the process as I was up against the clock. I needed to sell fairly quickly and due to the market and situations beyond our control twice we had offers placed and accepted only to fall through before closing for one reason or another.

This is where Erika showed what type of person she is both professionally and personally. Not only did she respond professionally to each situation but she could sense my worry, concerns, exasperation and desperation. Every single time she told me not to worry and that she would handle everything and get everything taken care of and that helped put me back into a place of comfort. Not only did she say she would but she actually did. She never let me give up which I wanted to do several times and she never let me settle for less due to the situation I was in. Most importantly, she saved me several sleepless nights by letting me know that she had the experience necessary, the right connections to get things done and that everything was going to work out no matter how it looked at the time.

Sure enough, she was right. Her valuable experience and suggestions, which I was happy to follow, helped me get well above market value and more than what the first two offers were. She assisted with getting the resources and was very creative financially. If you ever have any issue or last minute renovations she “has a guy” or two for everything. Sure enough, just as she said, everything worked out and it worked out better than I could have expected. I had very little to do with any of it. It was all her.

I had only used one realtor my whole life and it was a family friend and I was reluctant to switch but due to the circumstances I decided to choose Erika and I am so glad that I did.

I highly recommend Erika whether you are buying or selling or even renting. She exceeded any expectations and made the entire process easy for me mentally, physically, financially and emotionally and I am very grateful for her and everything she has done!

Erika helped us purchase an REO after looking at many homes when we moved to VA in 2014. Erika professionaly managed, navigated and negotiated for us through a very challenging process. We were thrilled with the home and the purchase price. Fast forward 6 years later, we were on the move again and reached out to Erika to help us sell our home. Again selling a home during a pandemic, Erika managed another challenge with professionalism, after 4 short days on the market, and holding an open house with strict guidlines in place we were under contract. Whether buying or selling a home we highly recommend Erika. We have bought and sold 4 homes and Erika is heads and shoulders above the rest!
