It's my first time to purchase a property in NYC and I don't know any real estate agent there. I made a request online through Clever Real Estate (highest rating in my search). I was very lucky to get connected with Federico within minutes. Actually, Federico was one of the agents that Clever recommended. He called me to introduce himself and find out my needs and requirements. After the phone conversation, I had a feeling that Federico would be a great fit for me among others. I was a little skeptical at the beginning, but I’m so glad I chose him because the result proved me right. With Federico’s professional help, I was able to find a desirable sunny south facing newer condo (2005) in Midtown Manhattan within 2 short weeks. He helped me to negotiate a better price (even lower than I expected) and get the offer accepted! He also helped me greatly to go through the “painful” condo HOA approval process without any issues (I have purchased several properties in other areas of the US, but nothing likes buying in NYC). The total time from signing the contract to closing was within one month, super fast. I have to say I couldn’t have done that without Federico’s help. Besides, Federico has great personality and genuine sincerity that makes me feel comfortable in dealing with him. I highly recommend Federico if you are looking for a property in NYC, especially in Manhattan! I know I would if I plan to buy another one there.

Federico was a pleasure to with on my condo search in Manhattan. He listened to what we were looking for in a place, booked all the appointments and was always on time. He was always quick to reply to questions and got us an amazing deal! Even when we thought the price was good, he asked to counter one more time and was able to get an even better deal. When the deal was in contract, he worked to get other fees moved to the seller without me even asking to do that. I highly recommend working with him and when the time comes for us to move in the future I will be working with him again.

In the summer of 2002, I decided to buy a condo in NYC. My prior experience with NYC real estate brokers was mediocre to downright horrible. Most just care about their commission and are willing to do some sleazy things to close a deal. So, my plan was to find a place on my own, using online tools like StreetEasy.

Then I met Federico. He was representing one of the apartments I went to view. I instantly took a liking to him. His warm and genuine nature just drew me in. He seemed to care more about me finding what was best for me, than about closing a deal for himself. So, I asked him to represent me as a buyer. We looked at more apartments than I can remember over the course of the next month or so. Along the way Federico learned more about me and what I was looking for as we spent time together, tailoring what he asked me to see accordingly. He would respond to messages at almost any hour and worked harder than any broker I have ever seen. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and educated me about the ins and outs of NYC real estate. When I finally settled on a place, he recommended a lawyer whom I agreed to work with as well. like Federico, he was super responsive and knowledgeable. He helped me to realize the apartment I was considering had some financial red flags, so I ultimately decided to walk away.

Federico went back to work, not the least bit put off by losing the deal. He just worked harder. During various bidding negotiations, he would stop me if I felt we should take an offer and say things like, “you can do better”. What broker does that? Over and over, he kept demonstrating that he had MY best interest at heart. We ultimately found a better apartment that I purchased and with which I am thrilled. Federico and the attorney worked closely together, keeping me informed throughout the entire transaction, expertly navigating the board package process, and making what is normally a very complex and frustrating experience, as easy for me as I have ever experienced. I could not have asked for anyone better in my corner.

I decided to renovate, and then rent the unit just purchased. Given my amazing purchase experience with Federico, I asked him to find me a tenant. He then found me about the most perfect tenant I could have possibly imagined. They are the nicest people who love the apartment so much I have gotten emails gushing about it from both my tenant and her extended family. They also gushed about Federico, and literally said they knew they would like me, because I had hired someone like him.

That lease is now coming up for renewal. I reached out to Federico to ask him some questions about the process of resigning my tenant. He just offered to help me, even though he was not going to make a commission on the transaction. And this fact did not change his work ethic one bit. He stayed on top of it, following up with the management company and once again getting the board requirements satisfied…in record time I might add.

The bottom line is, I cannot speak highly enough about Federico and wholeheartedly recommend him. He is one of the most knowledgeable, honest and warmest people I have met in NYC, who engenders trust with everyone he meets….a quality you rarely see in a real estate broker. You would be a fool not to hire him. I can say without question I will never buy, sell or rent a property ever again without this man at my side.

Federico was a thorough and thoughtful real estate professional. He was dogged in pursuing the best price for me but also did not blindly do my bidding. He offered his experiences in negotiations to guide me to obtain a good deal for me without losing the goodwill of the seller. Once we agreed on price, Federico did end his job there. He was instrumental in guiding me through the Board approval process, which was a complicated one. He fully participated in two walk through to check that appliances and other features were in good working order. Federico was extremely responsive even taking calls on evenings and weekends. In all, through his party he should he really cared to see that I got what I wanted. If it’s not clear, I would eagerly recommend him to any buyer or seller.

I used Federico to help me find my second apartment for purchase in New York City and was so pleased with my experience. Even though this was my second time purchasing an apartment, Federico was extremely knowledgeable about condo and coop-buying process in Manhattan. He was very organized and efficient when arranging viewings for me especially as I was looking from out of town.

Most of all, he got me the apartment I wanted when the seller had a competing, all-cash offer. I thought that there was no chance of me getting the apartment, but Federico worked his magic, crafted a competitive offer, and secured the apartment for me.

He was incredibly responsive at all hours to answers questions and was diligent about reaching out to me guide me through the process. He was also helpful in giving me many recommendations for lawyers and potential mortgage brokers.

Federico was incredibly helpful to us as we navigated the NYC-condo process as first-time home buyers. Right off the bat, he was very friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in helping us find the perfect home for us.

Even if we really liked a unit after touring, Federico was very diligent and walked us through the details he noticed during the tour that we should consider.

When it came to pricing and negotiating an offer, he provided many helpful tips and kept us updated on the communications he was having with the seller’s broker. Even though we purchased at the peak of the market, Federico was able to help us negotiate a great price below the apartment’s appraised value.

Once we had an accepted offer, he remained available for questions, and helped us communicate with our building’s management firm. He also provided suggestions for post-close items, like cleaners, painters and movers.

Throughout the entire process, Federico always got back to us very promptly and answered any questions we had by the end of the day. Closing timely was very important to us so Federico checked in regularly to make sure everything was on track.

We would highly recommend Federico to new homebuyers and for anyone who really values prompt communication, friendly professionalism and a successful New York home-buying experience!

I'd give 10 stars if I could! Federico just helped me and my fiancé close on a co-op, and we truly could not have done it without him. We started casually looking at places months ago before finally getting serious about it at the beginning of the year. We then put in two offers that didn't work out, and finally got one accepted on a co-op in February. The co-op application process took about three months.

As first-time homebuyers, we had no idea what we were doing, and Federico was incredibly helpful and patient throughout this months-long process. We genuinely enjoyed working with him, and we are sad that we won't be seeing him so much anymore!

I can’t express enough how amazing a real estate agent Federico is, after three others were disappointing. As a first-time buyer, I needed a lot of information and support, and Federico was always there. He works around the clock, answered all my questions, and was never dismissive if I asked him something basic.

He helped me navigate all the complications of getting a mortgage, working with a lawyer, interviewing with a co-op board, and closing. Stories of his clients' experiences helped me navigate my own situation and prepared me for anything that might have arisen.

Federico is also extremely knowledgeable with all areas of New York, and when I was looking at various areas, he had great insights. He helped me narrow my search based on what I wanted and when I was debating between two final options, Federico talked me through each option and also how we could proceed to get what would make most sense for me.

We pursued one deal and Federico was able to negotiate a price that was ultimately $10,000 less than the professional bank appraisal. It was a great price based on comps we saw and the asking price, too.

Each step of this long, emotional, and complicated process, I knew I could count on Federico to be knowledgeable and be there when I needed him for any reason. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a savvy, kind, dedicated realtor. I will recommend him to friends and look forward to working with him again.
