Frank and Martha Free are simply excellent real estate agents. They were referred to me by a friend who had previously used their services. Frank and Martha worked diligently to help sell my property under a short sell condition. Frank spent many tireless hours and days working with the various banks and insurance companies etc. to make this deal possible. For years my business caused me to travel south to the Charlotte area, driving right by Lake Norman. Often times, after arriving back home I would say to my wife that we should consider looking for our next home there on the lake. More time passed and we eventually decided to do just that. We spoke with several different realtors but just weren't comfortable with any of them. Since my wife and I both home office we had a very specific set of requirements and we have moved numerous times in the past so we knew this process would take time and the assistance of a very experienced and patient realtor. Then we found Martha Free at Lake Realty. Our first conversation was on the telephone wherein we conveyed our requirements, limitations and time table. Martha listened, asked some questions and eventually seemed to have a pretty clear understanding of what we were looking for. My wife and I knew this would most likely be our last move so we were very particular about finding just the right house. For well over a year Martha sent us information on various properties. On a number of occasions we drove down to inspect some of the prospects, but nothing was quite right. Having been a realtor myself some years before, I knew how frustrated I would have been with clients like us but Martha never was. Always with a smile and reassuring attitude, she worked tirelessly bringing us new properties to consider. After more than a year it was becoming clear to both Martha and us that building a home would be the best way to get exactly what we wanted and stay within our budget. So, Martha switched her focus to finding us the right piece of property to build upon. Shortly thereafter she called to say she had found four lots that she thought might work for us. One of them did and we purchased it. Not long thereafter, we designed and built our version of the perfect home on that lot. And now today, thanks to both the Grace of the LORD and Martha's perseverance, we are living our dream at Lake Norman.
