About Fred

Fred is owner and Broker of Gunther Properties, which he launched in 2006. He has over 27 years of experience in real estate specializing in complex commercial transactions. Fred has been instrumental in the growth and development of downtown Pensacola. In 2006, he partnered with architect Scott Sallis and the City of Pensacola to develop The Lofts on Intendencia creating much-needed professional housing downtown. Since then he has served as Chairman of the City of Pensacola's Zoning Board of Adjustments for several years and as a Trustee and Officer of the Community Maritime Park Associates Board. He recently developed Galveztown, a mixed use development on Palafox Street in downtown Pensacola.

In addition to being owner/broker of Gunther Properties, Fred holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). This distinction notes recognized experts in the commercial and investment real estate industry who are also part of a global commercial real estate network with members across North America and in more than thirty countries. Of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, 9,000 hold the CCIM designation.
