Freddie Edwards

Freddie was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia in 1956 and has lived in the West End since 1964, He attended Hermitage High School and has lived and worked in Henrico County his entire life. He has been married to his wife Wanda for thirty-three years and they have two grown daughters and one new granddaughter. Freddie and his wife enjoy vacationing at the Outer Banks, where he hopes to retire. His favorite author is Nelson DeMille and his favorite music ranges from classic rock to blues.

After several years of non-career sales positions, Freddie began in a real estate career with Joyner and Company Realtors in 1987. When Crawley Joyner decided to retire in 1998, he moved his real estate license to The JJH Corporation.

The JJH Corporation is a small, but successful real estate sales and development company founded by John J. (Jack) Hanky in 1974. While at JJH, he earned his Broker’s License and hired two sub agents, who worked for him in sales and leasing. He also has an employee that collaborates with him part0time, assisting with real estate Sales, leasing, and property management clients.

Freddie recently joined the professional office of Metropolitan Real Estate as an Associate Broker.

Freddie has been a site agent for many West End subdivisions and has successfully rezoned several properties in Henrico and Goochland counties. Freddie encourages and implements good working relationships with the supervisors and planning departments. He has functioned as a Project Coordinator for several new home subdivisions as a consultant and a partner. He attended computer classes at Tech Head and private tutors to become skilled at CAD. He used this knowledge to design and draw numerous floor plans, which include both single family and multifamily homes. He uses several Adobe CS applications to design, format, publish, and maintain his own web page.
