A native of Annapolis, Rick Hoffman was thrilled to come home to work in his hometown region after enjoying a successful career that took him from Maryland to New York City, the Hamptons, and Washington, DC. Coming full circle, he now proudly serves TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in the position as Brokerage Manager for the Annapolis and Chesapeake region office. Rick was most recently the Regional Vice President for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s eleven Washington, DC offices, as well as the Director of Global Luxury Marketing. He joined Coldwell Banker after his role as Regional Senior Vice President at The Corcoran Group in New York, heading up eleven offices in the Hamptons, and lending his seasoned real estate, business, and legal expertise to oversee and unify his branches. While at Corcoran, Rick oversaw the acquisition of their largest competitor and blended their sales associates and operations into the Corcoran brand, by enhancing sales performance and managing operations throughout the company.
Rick previously served in a similar capacity as Vice President and Regional Director of Operations for Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, where he supervised the region's management team and agents regarding policy, procedures, and sales. Under his leadership, he increased market share within the region, expanded the business from six to ten offices, and grew the number of sales associates from 190 to 240 in just eighteen months.
Rick combines his wealth of financial and legal knowledge with his sales and real estate expertise as well as his extensive network base. Before transitioning to corporate management, he practiced law for fourteen years, specializing in real estate law.
This Annapolis native studied Architecture and earned his BA in Economics at Tulane University in New Orleans. He worked in commercial construction lending for Maryland National Bank before pursuing his law degree which he earned at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
