Gary Dezarn

Captain Gary Dezarn hails from Oklahoma and was brought up in a strong military family. His fathers’ numerous travels took the Dezarn family around the world from Germany to California to England. As a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Gary’s first passion lies within his 20 years experience as a USCG 1600 ton licensed captain. He has logged over 40k nautical miles having traveled extensively to and from places such as Canada to South America and New England to the Caribbean. Captain Gary has been the master of many ships and as such, has seen his fair share of yachts, mega-yachts, marinas and luxury homes. After traveling the around the world, Gary proudly refers to “The Venice of America” Fort Lauderdale Florida as his home.

Gary’s next passion is luxury real estate. He has earned an impressive portfolio of rental properties and is always looking out for the next investment opportunity. Due to his high level of project management skills he has managed several large yacht refits totaling nearly 8 million dollars and has successfully managed several real estate development projects as an owner representative. Having personally done 1031 exchanges, Gary is always ready to talk capitalization and proformas for any investment property.
