About Gary
From the beginning, Gary and real estate have fit together like a dovetail joint. He started working in construction for his dad at age 15 in Bellingham. The hard work taught him tenacity and grit. Moving to Chicago in 1990 to complete his bachelor's degree, he continued to work in construction to put himself through college.
After graduating Gary went to work for an investment brokerage holding series 6, 63 and 26 securities/principle licenses, as well as an insurance license. His first transaction experience was working with estate planning and other securities professionals. Helping clients consider investment assets as well as handle sensitive client information were two valuable skills that he uses to this day.
As it turned out, housing was like a magnet for Gary. So, 5 years later, he rejoined the construction industry, and started his own remodeling company in 2002. His niche was middle to high-end remodeling and stellar client care. Concurrently, he began buying and selling real estate gaining valuable investment, transaction, and landlord experience.
Eleven years later Gary had a nice portfolio of renovations, strong customer-oriented systems, a network of satisfied clients and nine rental units. He then decided to use his wisdom and experience to help other folks find the success that he had. He joined Pillar Northwest Real Estate, an Eastside boutique brokerage. This move turned out to be a strategic training ground where he quickly found strong traction serving the local Eastside and Seattle marketplace.
As the market began to change, Gary knew that branding and market share would become important for his clients. He joined Windermere Real Estate where they enjoy Amazon level brand recognition and 2-3 times the market share of the closest competitors for the Greater Eastside and Seattle areas.
Today these work experiences, combined with his desire to serve clients as a trusted friend and professional consultant, has made him a top choice for many Eastsiders & Seattleites. Gary is enthusiastic to earn the opportunity of putting his experience to work for you.
Final Note
The decision to buy or sell one of your largest financial assets is always emotional. Emotion can be friend or foe. There is a process that, when done systematically, will help you to become clear and confident. Gary invites you to ask him about that process. Let them achieve your ambitions together!
