My experience with Gene as my realtor was exceptional. From the start Gene explained the process of selling and closing a house in detail. In his discussion of both, it was evident to me that he knew the trends in the housing market, which helped me to understand the process. Other areas of excellence include his nearly immediate response and professional manner in which he returned every phone call or email I sent to him. Finally, Gene's expert ability to negotiate the best price for my home proved beneficial and timely, enabling me to close on my property and close on the purchase of my new home all on the same day. Over-all rating without reservation is a 5 on a scale of 1-5. 1 poor, 5 exceptional.

We are first time buyers and were guided the whole way through this crazy process with such care and professionalism. Extremely detailed and patient and on top of all this, he is such a kind soul. He really got to know me on a personal level and this helped us work together towards finding right house matching to our criteria. All in all, Gene has a lot of integrity, and was always responsive and diligent. I really can't imagine getting any better service than this. He is undeniably the BEST at what he does. Gene came highly recommended from a friend. We started our search and stopped for about an year. Gene did not pressure us when we told him that we'd let him know if we like any home. Gene is very considerate and is always available for any questions. Gene cares a lot about his clients and makes sure they are informed and happy about the new home. If you're looking for a house or rental apartment that's just right and you're very picky, Gene Fish is your guy. We've been searching for our home for quite a while, we've looked at almost every house that would come out in our price range in seven zip codes and I know we were those pain in the neck customers. But Gene and his team were always helpful and attentive, always ready to show us another house that opened up. They knew exactly the kind of house we need before we even realized it ourselves; talked us out of a couple of properties that I now know we would regret buying. Any questions that we had regarding properties, townships, school districts, utilities, inspections and repairs, property value and how it may change - we had them all answered and resolved right away. Overall, we're very happy with the house we got and experience we had with Gene. He also helped us find our rental a year ago and was on top of his game then too. My aging parents reached the point where they were unable to live alone in the Northeast Philadelphia house they lived in for 46 years so they moved to an assisted living residence near me in central New Jersey. The challenge confronting me was what to do with the house. I knew that a young couple had moved into a house down the street so I asked them what their experience had been. They highly recommended Gene Fish who helped them find and buy their house. Although I spoke with several other agents, I was impressed by Gene’s straight-forward approach to listing and selling the house. The house wasn’t in great shape and needed repairs and a thorough cleaning to get it into a condition to be sold. Gene found people to effectively take care of everything which was critical given my distance. Gene did a great job of marketing the house with pictures highlighting positive features of the property. He contacted other brokers who would be interested and made sure we had solid traffic of buyers coming by. In the end, we received several offers and sold the property in less than a week at 5% above the listing price. Throughout the process, Gene was always accessible and kept me informed what was happening. His experience and personality made all the difference in making what could have been an onerous process into something that gave me confidence we would be successful. We were. I highly recommend Gene.

We just bought a house and would highly recommend Gene to work with! He is very experienced, knowledgeable, and patient (very important when looking to buy a home! ??). When we decided to start looking, we thought we would look at tonnes of houses before settling on the one. We met with Gene and discussed what we are looking for and what is important to us. He listened carefully (never rushed us) and then sent us a list of properties to look at. We went to see one house and fell in love - it was the one. We didn't even go to see any other houses after - I still can't believe this! All because Gene did such a good job listening to us and finding exactly what we needed. Saved us a lot of time and we are so happy with our new home. Gene is truly amazing to work with.

I am old enough to have dealt with many properties in my life, but when my Aunt died and I became executor, I had no connections to her local area in order to sell her house. Gene was selected by my sister-in-law who used online reviews to help me find an agent to list and sell my late Aunt's condo. Gene has very positive reviews and our experiences with Gene were right in line with those reviews. The property was a mess, but Gene was extraordinary in his assistance and attention to detail in the cleaning and preparing for the listing. Gene is an excellent caretaker of a property if you cannot be present and he is an outstanding communicator. He will help you with all phases of the preparing, listing, and sale at your pace and on your schedule. He uses all available technologies (mobile, iPad, e-signature, etc) to complete all phases of your transaction. Overall, I was highly pleased with Gene and I would recommend him as an agent without reservations.

Update my review. I am a picky person, but I am highly recommend Gene Fish. He helped me rent my house out after the first guy tried two months without result. Not only that the tenant pays the rent on time almost one year so far. And if I need him to help, he will be always there for me. Basically, if you hire him, you do not have to worry about the rest. You can totally trust him.

Buying our first house couldn't be possible without Gene! When we first started looking for houses, he provided lot of insights as what to look out for in houses. He is highly knowledgeable!!! My family and I will always be grateful to Mr. Gene Fish. He made it possible for us to find, negotiate and buy our dream home. As first time home buyers we relied fully on Gene's expertise and professionalism to help guide us through the process. We looked at many houses and were ready to compromise on the almost-what-we-wanted house, but Gene made sure that we wouldn't settle and recommended we look at more homes. As a result of Gene's persistence and dedication we ended up finding our dream home that fit all of our family's needs and then some. My favorite part of the home is the backyard area with beautiful pines and oaks and a vegetable garden. I love entertaining guests on the spacious deck on warm summer nights. the best part about working with Gene is he was able to negotiate the price $10,000 lower than what we expected to spend. I honestly don't think I could've found a better real estate agent and a better person to guide our family throughout the home buying process.
