Gene Lucero

Eugene R. Lucero (Gene Lucero) is the CEO and Principal of the Lucero Financial Group that includes Lucero Real Estate, Lucero Mortgage, and Lucero Tax & Accounting located in Denver, CO. LFG has served the Denver Metro market for over 40 years and has frequently been recognized as one of the top Latino-owned businesses in Denver. Gene brings extraordinary knowledge and leadership to the Lucero Financial Group with a collective 40 years of experience as a licensed real estate broker, mortgage loan originator, and income tax and public accountant. Gene is the founding chairperson of the Colorado Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (CAHREP) having served as Chairman for three and a half years, and is now an honorary board member. Gene has also served as Secretary of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and is recognized as a NAHREP Eagle, symbolic of being one of the top 18 Hispanic real estate entrepreneurs serving the Hispanic market. He has served on the boards of Colorado Affordable Housing Partnership, the City of Denver Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, Metro Brokers, Inc., Stewart Title, the Blue Ribbon Panel on Housing, and fulfilled two terms on the State Housing Board with appointments by Governors Bill Ritter and John Hickenlooper. Gene is a proud Alum the University of Colorado and was recognized by the University of Colorado Alumni Association with its prestigious George Norlin Award in 2012.
