He has served on the boards of Colorado Affordable Housing Partnership, the City of Denver Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, Metro Brokers, Inc., Stewart Title, the Blue Ribbon Panel on Housing, and fulfilled two terms on the State Housing Board with appointments by Governors Bill Ritter and John Hickenlooper. Gene is a proud Alum the University of Colorado and was recognized by the University of Colorado Alumni Association with its prestigious George Norlin Award in 2012. Gene is known as a leader and champion for equal opportunity, diversity, and affordable housing in the Denver Metro community.
