Our experience with the Philbeck was excellent. On day one, George came to our home with an aggressive plan for selling our home. He obviously did his homework on our specific property and provided us with a very well prepared package including his suggested listing price. I jumped in to help her find a real estate agent. I’ve spoken to a few agents and all seem to have a pretty good understanding of the market (I don’t live in Orlando so I don’t know it very well), however what separated George & Jacquie was their ability to communicate and to have a real strong knowledge I think of my mother’s house. George & Jacquie suggested a list price for the home which I thought was a little bit high based on what they showed me, however in 2 and a half weeks they had an offer that was more than acceptable. Once we were under contract Jennifer stepped in and she is simply put a pleasure to work with. When we were selling our home he was really the only agent that stood out, and we were very satisfied with the results. I remember it selling in just a few days, and more important, there were NO surprises. This was the first home we had ever owned and we bought it from a builder so buying was simple. So was selling or so we thought. We have since relocated and have sold another home in Maryland and it was nothing like our experience with George! The other agent made mistakes, missed dates and communication, basically dropped the ball in every area. So much so that we called George and he was even able to help then. Since the day I met George in 2003 I have held him in the highest regard! I had posted my ad in the newspaper to attempt to sell my home by owner and the first call I received was from George Philbeck. He told me he was a realtor and he was very impressed with my write-up for my home, and would like to see it. Of course I invited him over. He told me I had listed it too low and that he could sell it for a considerably higher price. He assured me that while some realtors were dabblers and part timers, that this was his full time profession and he would never let me down. Indeed, Mr. Philbeck had a viable offer within 4 days for many thousands of dollars more than I had ever imagined it would sell for. I rented a home for a year after that, and when I was ready to buy again, the first call I made was to George. I looked at, and rejected several homes for one reason or another, and apologized to George for being high maintenance. He assured me he was in it for the long haul until I found what I wanted, and that, no, I wasn't high maintenance, I was demanding and deserving of the home I wanted for myself and my children. One day, sitting at my desk at work, George sent me an email of a listing. At the exact moment I opened that email and started to dial George's number, George was calling me to say he thought he had the house for me. We met at the house an hour later and pulled into a nearby parking lot as soon as we left to write up the offer. The house was mine. In that neighborhood, my children found neighbors who, to this day are their best friends. George Philbeck has stood beside me every step of the way and made me feel safe and protected in my real estate travels. I am now ready to purchase a new home. I can think of no better person to serve as my guide through this process. Thank you, George, for making me feel bulletproof.
