About Gina
My experience and work ethic.
I have more than 20 years in the housing industry. I know the market; I’m saturated in it every day. I know the general market trends, and I know how to value a specific home. On top of that, I pride myself on being a results-driven, hard-working professional. It’s how I was raised. Recently, I helped a married couple in a 55-and-over community sell their home in 24 days, at their asking price (when others thought it could not be done). How? I got out there and developed connections with people. I understood how to market their home, which had some unique qualities that I accentuated, making it a more desirable home than some competitors on the market.
My specialized knowledge.
I have worked for— and, as a result, am familiar with— several home builders, both standard build and luxury, including Seagate Homes. I know what new construction options are out there, the sometimes lengthy and complicated process involved in buying new, and when it’s best for my clients to buy new… and when NOT to. I’ve found that other Realtors®— nice as they often are— don’t have anywhere near my level of knowledge about the details of home construction (new or not). Wonder what I mean? Ask me about block versus wood construction; 2 x 4 versus 2 x 6 framing and roofing, 16” versus 24” on center stud spacing, R-value insulation, SEER value in an HVAC system, dovetail/tongue-in-groove versus butt joint drawer construction, the different grades of granite and tile flooring… Don’t get me started! But it’s not just about having the knowledge; it’s about how to use that information to my clients’ advantage.
My generalized knowledge.
I am familiar with the whole home buying/selling process. I have professional relationships with all sorts of vendors a client might need— from pressure washers, handymen, pros who do furniture staging, inspectors, appraisers, lenders, and so on. I have personally vetted everyone on my vendor list. And I listen to and learn from my vendors; that’s how I have come to build my knowledge about types of home loans, financing requirements, how to correct issues with a home before it gets to the inspection period. (Prevention is key to getting your contract to close!) Believe me when I tell you, I am a professional problem solver, and I am ready to work hard for you!
My personality.
I care about people and homes. That deep caring— about people and homes— has been a part of my makeup since I was a pre-teen. …..That’s how I became the Realtor of Choice. What choice will you make? (Oh, and I should warn you… my relationships with clients don’t stop after they sell or buy a home with me. They become lifelong friends... who send me referrals of their friends and family! :-)
