Hello and welcome! I am told that I am a rarity because I was actually born, raised and educated in Tampa, Florida. With the exception of 1 year when I lived in Germany, I have been in Tampa all my life. Joe and I have been happily married for 22 years and jointly we share 5 wonderful children and 13 adorable grandchildren. I was the Founder and inaugural President of the South Seminole Heights Action League. Owned and operated Fame Marketing Services, a screen printing and advertising company that serviced major industry accounts such as R.J. Reynolds, Heublein, Inc., Riunite Wines, Daiwa Corporation, Quaker Oats Corporation, numerous private and public schools, local and city government entities as well as many privately owned companies with their marketing and advertising programs. I have volunteered and promoted fund raising events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Epilepsy Foundation, Tampa Chapters. Served as PTA Volunteer Guidance Chairman; Coordinator for the City of Tampa’s Peer to Peer Program for South Seminole Heights Civic Association; Coordinated and volunteered in the City of Tampa’s Hillsborough River Clean Up Initiative.
I was employed 18 years with the School District of Hillsborough County in the Federal Programs Department’s Title 1 office where I worked very hard at providing a high level of service, integrity and commitment to principals, administrators, district personnel and private industry representatives. Whatever it took to get the job done for our children!!!
