About Grant

Grant Almquist combines his passion for residential real estate with a strong background in corporate sales to deliver professional guidance and exemplary customer service to his clients. After selling financial software and technology services to Fortune 500 companies for 10 years, Grant began his real estate career in 2002 while working for a luxury golf club developer in North Scottsdale. He went on to win industry awards in new-home sales before assuming a management position. Eventually, he was recruited to sell luxury residences for the Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain. The ultimate transition to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty was a natural one.

After years of performing in high-pressure sales environments with top-level decision-makers and high net-worth individuals, he understands the art of getting the deal done…. whether it be the complexities of negotiation or tenacious follow-through. His natural affinity for architecture and design creates a pleasurable and productive experience for his clients while looking for the right home or the right buyer.

Grant grew up in central Phoenix where he graduated from Brophy College Preparatory. He went on to earn his B.S. Degree from Arizona State University and his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has lived on both coasts of the United States, London, England, and Guadalajara, Mexico. In his spare time, he enjoys competing in the sport of Triathlon and participating in other athletic activities. He also gives back to the community with involvement on several boards and long-standing support for the Heard Museum.
