About Gregory

With a passion for real estate and a love of the Bradenton area, Gregory Zies became a realtor® in 2014. Less than five years later, he was awarded the recognition of #1 Team in Manatee County by Michael Saunders & Company along with his business partner, Kathy Valente. He approaches each new day with the philosophy of always putting the customer first; they know he is at their side every step of the way. With most buyers, he assists coming to the area from out-of-state, Gregory enjoys going through the process of educating them on the market area. He has a reputation for going beyond in everything he does, especially for his customers.

Like many residents, Gregory first began vacationing on Anna Maria Island before deciding to move here full time with his wife, Shannon. Originally from the Chicago area, he has lived in a variety of places including Milwaukee, WI, Rockford, IL, and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

With solid Midwest roots and values, Gregory had a strong work ethic instilled at an early age taking his first job working in the cornfields when he was just 13 years old. Since then, he has gained numerous skills in the jobs he has chosen along the way. Gregory has an Associate of Science in Industrial Design from Fort Lauderdale Institute and Design and a long history of business-to-business work. His love for real estate began when he purchased his first investment home in 2002. His passion for the industry has never waned and he is continually excited to play a crucial role in helping others search for their new main home or vacation residence.

Gregory and his wife have two children, Pryce and Addison. In his spare time, you can find this sports fan rooting for the Chicago Bears or Cubs or relaxing outdoors on the island with his family.
